Damon's Little Accident

Dusk was slowly approaching from around them, the light getting absorbed into the darkness which was a perfect atmosphere for vampires.

"I've been looking forward to this all day, going on a date with you." Damon said as he looks at Kai.

"I know. So have I. I've been planning this for a while. I wanted to treat you for being the perfect boyfriend." Said Kai, spoken softly and lovingly.

Damon gives Kai a heart-warming smile to Kai. "Thank you. I love you so much."

"I love you too." Kai said.

After the walking distance, they arrive at the restaurant and is greeted by a waitress.

"Hi and welcome. Do you have a reservation? The young woman spoke.

"Yes, it's down under as Parker."

The young woman looked down at the computer to find the name. After a few seconds, she finds it.

"Yes. I have you. You will be at table 8. Would you like to follow me."

Kai nods as they both follow the young woman to the table. Once there, they both sit down.

"Thank you." Kai said.

The young woman smiled softly.

"Your menus are here so take your time and I'll have someone to come over to take your order."

Kai nods as he smiles. The young woman walks away so she can sign more people in.

Both Damon and Kai picks up their menus and looks through them.

A waitress starts walking over towards them both.

"Hi. My name is Kathy and I'll be your waitress this evening. Can I start you off with some drinks?"

"Yes, can I get a bourbon?" Kai said.

"Yeah. Same here." Damon replied.

Kathy writes it on her notepad.

"Yeah. I'll get that for you."

Kathy walks away to give the order in to the bar.

A few minutes later, Kathy comes back with the drinks.

"Here you go." She said as she places the glasses down.

"Are you both ready for me to take your order?"

They both nod as they look at the menu.

"Can I get the cheese burger please?" Kai said with a polite smile.

"Yes of course." The waitress writes it down and looks at Damon. "What about you, sir?"

"I think I'll have the same thing."

"Two cheese burgers. Good choices. I'll put the order in now and if you need anything in the meantime like more drinks then give me a shout, Okay?"

Kai and Damon both nod as the woman slowly walks away.

"I gotta admit, I thought I'd never be here. This place is so gorgeous. Its better than being trapped in that prison world." Kai said as he smiles.

"Oh I know. Its beautiful here. I know I was trapped there for a short while with Bonnie, and it was like hell, but, to be honest, I'm glad I was there because I never would have met you. Even if we did kinda hate each other." Damon said romantically.

"Yeah. I'm glad I met you too. I didn't think you would turn out to be this amazing guy. I actually thought you were just a narcissistic dick but, I was wrong. I fell in love with the amazing, caring, slightly cocky person." Kai looked over at Damon, seeing him slightly blush a little.
