"Kenma - I'm here."

You widened your eyes as you read the message, finishing your hair quickly, picking up your things and scrambling out of the room, tripping over your own feet down the dorm hallway. You wore a high-waisted denim shorts and a black blouse, tucked inside the shorts and you left them a little looser. You didn't put on makeup, you got lazy, you just felt like putting on mascara. Leaving the dorm, you saw Kenma's car there, he had one arm leaning on the door and was fiddling with his cell phone, he wore sunglasses similar to the one you had borrowed - and not returned yet. He wore Jeans and a black shirt, his hair pulled back as usual, with a clumsy bun and a few hair hanging loose in his face.

—Am I late? - you asked, getting in the car and quickly sealing the corner of his mouth.

—No, I just arrived. - Kenma smiled sideways, starting the car. Friends, chase atlantic played on the car.

—Where are we going?

—What do you usually eat?

—Hm... usually whatever's in the cafeteria or some fast food. My diet is not the healthiest, I confess.

—Neither mine. - Kenma laughed lightly. - I'll take you to a vegetarian restaurant. I don't eat meat that often, in fact, almost never, that's okay?

—No problem.- you said, smiling at him.

When you arrived, you sat by a window on the second floor of the restaurant. You ordered the dish that you liked the most and an orange juice to go with it. You and Kenma had a pleasant conversation, he listened more to you talking than said a word, but you understood that it was his way and for your happiness, talking was one of your favorite things.

—The plan was to open a company... for real and invest in some stocks, but it didn't work out very well. - Kenma shrugged, putting a forkful in his mouth.

—May I ask... what happened?- He nodded, taking a sip of his juice.

— It was in the last year of high school, I wanted money and my parents didn't want to give it. Then Kuroo told me he worked with a guy who needed someone who knew computers, and lucky for me, I'm good at it, my first job was to break into the security cameras of an avenue, in short. And as it was quick and easy money, I didn't give up, until the guy was arrested, consequently killed in jail and everything ended up in our hands, since we were the closest to him, so I'm still here today.

—You regret? - you asked normally, as if it was something monotonous.

He kept his voice low and soft as he talked to you, even though you had only known each other for a few days, you were glad he had no problem telling you these things, but it's a fact that Akaashi always pointed out to you, everyone who talked to you, opened up easily, Keiji always said that no matter how crazy you were, you managed to make others comfortable with your presence. Needless to say, you were completely stunned by the boy's sincere compliment.

—A little. It's not like I have any other option now...

—Why not?

—It's complicated. A lot of people count on me, I can't drop everything to live life the way i want. Kuroo wouldn't care but... I can't let him down. And I can't talk about it, so tell me, what do you plan to do after you graduate?

— Work to try to earn a considerably good income. I wanted to become self-employed, but it needs to be recognized for that, so only after long years of work. But I want to know more about you, I was talking about myself the whole time, so tell me. It doesn't have to be about your work, really, I'm just curious.- you asked boldly, Kenma sighed, laughing weakly.
