Part 11

*Y/N POV*

I slowly open my eyes and hear the singing of nearby birds. I open my eyes fully to see that the sun had not come up yet, and that I was with the kits. I let my eyes adjust to the darkness before slowly getting up.

I got up without waking the kits and I moved them to the inside of their den. I made sure that their leftovers from the night before was safely tucked away so nothing could steal it before walking back to my home.

I was walking through the dark forest, enjoying the songs the birds were singing when I felt a presence near me. I look to my left to see Fresh there. I jumped a bit when I saw him. He turned to me with a slight smirk on his face and his shades saying 'LOL'.

"Did I scare ya toots?" He asked, his smirk widening a bit. I recollected myself back to my calm state before saying, "Yes, yes you did. Nearly gave me a heart attack." He laughed slightly at my comment.

"Sorry toots. I just saw ya walking alone and decided that it would be rad if we walked together! Ya know?" He said while his smirk went back to his usual smile. I smiled at him before nodding my head in agreement.

We walked a bit in a somewhat comfortable silence, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere around us. We eventually came to the end of the forest, and we went our separate ways from there. "Welp, I'll see ya around toots! Stay safe!" He said as he started to walk back into the woods.

"Alright then! I'll see you later Fresh!" I said as I started to walk back home. When I got to the house the sun was starting to rise a bit. I shifted into my human form and opened the door as quietly as I could before shifting back.

I pushed open the door and closed it behind me once I was inside. I went upstairs to Jammy's room to see him peacefully sleeping on his bed. I jumped onto his bed and walked over to him. I made one of his arms go around me before laying down next to him.

I felt him hug me closer to his body and I smiled a bit. I looked out the window that was on the opposite side of his room, and looked up at the sky. It was a beautiful mixture of pink, orange, and yellow.

I sighed at the beauty that nature had provided before closing my eyes and waiting for Jammy to wake up.
