It hurt.

It hurt so much.

At this point, you couldn't tell what you were feeling.

Hurt?

Disappointment?

Anger?

Frustration?

Or maybe it was a bit of all of them.

You had found out that the love of your life was leaving you. She was being sent to some sort of camp because her parents found out that she was dating a girl.

You knew deep down that this wasn't any easy for her than it was for you, but nonetheless, she parted her lips, preparing to say those three words;

"I'm leaving you."

There it was, the words that would shatter you.

"Please, no. You don't have to do this. We could stay together, we could run away together, something, anything. Please, just as long as it's not this." You pleaded with her, your pleas were to no avail.

"I'm sorry." She managed to choke out. It was then that you realized that she was silently crying. She was hurt too, and you could tell.

"If you're sorry... If you really meant all those times that you've told me that you love me, then please, stay."

Her cries began to become more noticeable.

"I love you, I really do but I can't if I could stay here with you I would I swear but-"

You cut her off.

"No! This isn't right and you know this. We can fix this! I love you, please, that has to mean something to you, doesnt it?!"

It did.

Hearing those words coming out of your mouth again hurt so much.

It cut her deeply, and you knew it, that was why you said it, in hopes of her realizing how wrong this was.

But it was too late.

Her bags were already packed and her parents made sure that everything she ever owned wasn't available for her to access, and she had no money.

You knew that If they tried to go to your home, your parents would call hers, and then it'd be back to square one.

You went silent.

You knew how pointless it was to try and get her to stay, but it still hurt for you to finally shut up and stop with the pleading.

Everything was completely out of either one of your's control.

You couldn't stand to look at her, so you didn't, you looked away.

*BEEP BEEP*

Her father's truck honked.

She looked to see his look of disapproval, looking back to face a now expressionless faced you.

She brung her hand up, wanting to wipe the tears off of your face but hesitated.

And for the final time you heard her say; "Im sorry..."

"I Love You."

And that was it.

You lost her.

The one person who ever made you feel like life was worth living was gone.

And you could do nothing but turn back and go home.
