CHAPTER 5:  Regrets

“These are some real good sushi!!”, Itadori exclaimed as he stuffed two of them once in his mouth. “Eat like a human you jerk; you have rice all over your face silly” said Nobara.

Everyone was enjoying their picnic lunch when Fushiguro asked, “hey, where’s miss Utahime?”. Everyone looked around.

“Yeah, right where is she? I thought she went to the bathroom but it was a long time ago” said Itadori.

“Gojo sensei, do you know where she is?” asked Maki.

Gojo was eating his food while he was somewhat lost in his own thoughts. He did not pay attention to what Maki was asking him, he was thinking about something else.

“Hey sensei, where is miss Utahime?”

Gojo looked up and finally answered, “aaah yes, Utahime, yeah she went for urgent work”,

“That’s sad, I really wanted to thank her for making such delicious food” said Nobara.

The feast was over. it was time for everyone to pack up and head back home. Itadori, Nobara and Fushiguro were packing up their bags when they saw Gojo heading towards the school building.

“Hey sensei, why don’t you join us?”, Itadori shouted from the school’s main gate.

“You guys go ahead, I have some unfinished business, ”said the white haired man as he went inside the school. Nobara and Itadori went away with a confused look while Fushiguro waited for them at the bus stop.

Gojo went up to the school auditorium. He knows whenever Utahime feels low, she comes here.

“There you are", ”Gojo said with a sigh as he saw Utahime sitting in the front row of the audience seat.

“Utahime I’m...”

“Go away Satoru, just leave me alone” Utahime interrupted before Gojo could say anything.

He came close to her seat and noticed her eyes were moistened with tears.

“I think I shouldn’t have said that”, said Gojo as he took his hands to rub the tears off from Utahime’s face. Utahime hissed back to him and pushed his hand away from anger.

“Do you ever think before speaking? Even once in your life?”

“c’mon I was kidding Utahime”

“WELL, JUST DON’T YOU EVER COME AND TALK TO ME AGAIN”

“Its time, lets go home” said Gojo without reacting to Utahime’s anger. This made Utahime more furious, she started yelling

“WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? YOUR PRIDE WILL LET YOU DOWN ONE DAY JUST MARK MY WORDS, YOU DIDN’T EVEN APOLOGISE TO ME”

Gojo didn’t react this time either, as if it was not a big deal. He held Utahime by her wrist and dragged her out of the auditorium.

“I’m serious Utahime, it’s not safe to stay for so late here at Jujutsu High, the Sukuna’s finger we kept here at school will attract many curses, just go home”

Utahime released her wrist by herself and shouted with rage,

“I won’t move an inch until you apologize to me you stupid brat”

Gojo stood there still for a moment and slowly removed his black sunglasses. He came close to Utahime and pinned her against the wall. Utahime couldn’t move from his strong grip. She couldn’t speak. It seemed that his ocean blue eyes did some magic, it always does, those damn eyes.

“Let me go Satoru”, Utahime said with a shaky voice

“I need to apologise first” said Gojo as his lips met with Utahime. He kissed Utahime passionately with her arms pinned over her head.
