A man, around 19, maybe 20 years of age walked through the jungle, following footsteps of a large theropod. He pushed aside some foliage to see a Tyrannosaurus Rex feasting on a carcass of a Trachodon. He took out a a camcorder and a tripod. He set up the tripod and put the camcorder on it, recording the T-Rex from behind. The Tyrannosaurus had a red pattern on his head, brown skin. The man had a notebook open, at the top of the page it had read "Grumpy: Tyrannosaurus Rex" He was writing more information into the journal. He stopped recording and disassembled the  camcorder setup. He crept back into the jungle.

The man walked out into a large clearing, the rocky faces of Isla Muerta surrounded the valley, he hopped into a jeep. He took out a bag and grabbed a sandwich from the bag. A waterfall was visible on the mossy cliffs, pterosaurs flew across the horizon. A small theropod, a coelorus hopped up to the jeep, begging for food. The man ripped off a piece of the sandwich and chucked it far off. The coelorus ran after it. "They're too used to me by now, jeez." He finished his sandwich and started the jeep but then he heard something. Stomp. Stomp. Stomp. Grumpy, the T-Rex burst into the clearing, roaring. The man slammed the accelerator, the rex chased after him...

He came across the plunge pool of the waterfall and got out of the jeep, hiding on the other side, assembling a tranq rifle, holding the dart in his mouth, he heard the T-Rex growl. He froze as the rex waded through the water, sniffing for him, the rex looked right at him. Strangely, Grumpy didn't notice him, his vision...was based on movement.
