So Kirigiri, how about a game of cards?

Celeste remembers those moments, the moment she was made the happiest woman alive.

"What's the catch?" Kyoko asked, clearly suspicious of Celestia

"Hm, how about you go on a date with me if I win?"

"I guess I'm willing to make that bet." Kyoko nodded as Celeste motioned toward the table in the back of their homeroom,

"Would you like to sit down? I have a deck in my bag if you would like to shuffle it."

"Yes, I guess shuffling would be the best way to do this. What game will we be playing today Mrs.Ludenberg?"

"I was thinking maybe Polish poker?" Celeste grabbed the deck from her small purse, bringing it back over to Kyoko.

"I'm okay with that, of course, as long as I get a prize if I win."

"But of course my dear, it wouldn't be fair if I got a prize and you didn't." Celeste smiled at Kyoko and handed her the deck of cards. Of course, Celeste had rigged it to be in her favor. If Kyoko shuffled and then cut the deck, the cards would all be in her favor. Celeste smiled at the thought and watched Kyoko shuffle.

But of course, Kyoko wasn't gonna fall for Celestia Lundenbergs trap that easily. She knew that Celeste would be expecting her to take the first card, then give her the next course, and then deal in that order, after all, that's always how she does it when they play. So she shuffled once, and then cut the deck. Celeste smiled, and then she stopped when Kyoko gave her the first card.

"Um dear, you know you got the first card, correct?"

"Yes, but I thought maybe we could switch it up this time, is that a problem Miss Ludenberg?"

Celeste kept her poker face and smiled "of course, there is no problem dear, just carry on."

As Kyoko picked up the two cards in front of her, she saw that it was an eight and a 2, which were very valuable cards

(if you don't know how to play polish poker, basically you have 4 cards, and you need to have the cards with the least amount of value. The one exception is an 8, which is worth 0 points. You can only look at the bottom 2 cards to start, and you have to figure out the value of the top 2 cards by switching them. You knock when you believe you have the lowest point value out of all players. Sorry if that isn't a good description, but yeah.)

She had just assumed that the other 2 cards in the square were already good but would play along just to torment Celeste.

Celest of course didn't have as good of cards. She had a 10 and a 7, and those were only the 2 she could see. She knew her other cards facing down were a queen and a king, both worth 25 points.

"Well, it is your turn first Kirigiri, as you shuffled the deck."

"Hmm, okay" Kyoko pulled a 6, and just put it down.

"I don't think I'll be needing this"

"Ah, well I think I would like this card," Celeste said as she picked up the card and switched her king out for the 6. "Your turn dear"

Kyoko pulled a 9 this time and again put it down in the discard pile.

And of course, Celeste changed it out for her queen, because 9 is better than 25.

"Dear, why don't you knock already? We both already know I have lost. You don't need to rub it in my face."

"Oh but that's the thing Miss Ludenberg, I do enjoy pointing out that you thought I would fall for your trick." Kyoko pulled out one last card, which was a one, and then knocked. Celeste used her last turn to change the one for her 10 and then they both flipped over their cards.

Kyoko had 3 points, Celeste had 23.

"I guess I have lost to you Kirigiri, and a deal is a deal, so what punishment shall I face dear?"

Kirigiri smirked and gave her answer "You have to give me a kiss, that's my punishment."

Celeste's face went red, but she kept cool nonetheless. She walked up to Kyoko and took her face in her hands, and put her lips to Kyoko's. It was short, but both Celeste and Ktoko savored every moment of it. Celeste pulled away and smiled at Kyoko

"Kyoko my dear, can we still go on that date I asked about?"

"Yes we can love, I wouldn't mind."

BONUS:

"What are you thinking about Celeste?"

"Oh nothing my dear, just about how we went on our first date."

"Well, are you done? The kitchen is currently on fire due to your son and I can't find the extinguisher."

"Are you sure Kokichi caused it? I believe it was my love for you, my dear~"

"No love, it was definitely Kokichi. Now get your ass up before the house burns down."
