Violet POV)

Hayes smiles at me, I smile back, "So, Best Friends?" He asks.

I nod, "Yeah, But you have to earn all my trust again." I say turning around.

I feel his fingers slowly wrap around mine as we walk slowly towards the lake, I smile to myself, Maybe things will change for the better?

"So, I have to earn your trust?" He asks breaking the silence. I lean against a tree, overlooking the gleaming lake.

"Yes. You have to be trustworthy." I shrug.

He laughs slightly, "Okay, fine. Best Friend." He nudges me like old times.

I crack a smile, "Am I your only one?" I ask smiling at him.

He looks into my eyes, "uh.. Sorry.. what?" He takes it the wrong way.

"Oh, I mean.. Best Friend wise." I fake smile.

Liessssss. If only he knew I secretly liked him.

"Of course, Only You." He says looking into my eyes.

I feel my breath hitch, Only me. If only that actually meant something more..

He smiles while We both walk out to where the boys are, Nash and Jack are hanging upside down on a tree singing twinkle twinkle little star, I furrow my eyebrows as me and Hayes sit next to each other on a log, What the hell are they doing?.. Jack G laughs pointing a finger at Nash and JJ.

"Don't ask." Nash rolls his eyes.

I smile and shrug, "I don't think I want too.." I start to laugh.

Nash and JJ get down, "What I do want to ask about, is that," Nash motions towards me and Hayes' locked hands.

Hayes and I turn a slight pink, "We made up." Hayes shrugs.

Nash furrow's his eyebrows, "Violet?" He asks walking towards us.

I look up at him as he towers over me as I sit, "Yes?" I squeak.

"Can we talk real quickly?" He asks reaching his hand out for me to take.

I grab it, "Yes." I stand and look back to Hayes one more time, before we start to walk towards the lake.

"What is it?" I ask worried.

He sighs, "You forgave him that easily? Why would you do that? You know what he has done to you is'nt good." He stops walking.

I look down at our connected hands, "Um, Yeah I know.. I want it to take time, I want him to prove to me that I can trust him again." I say looking into Nash's eyes.

He sighs again, "Please be careful. You know all of us care about you." He squeezes my hand.

I smile, "I know, but I think he might be serious about this, what if he really does care again?" I ask.

Nash shakes his head, "Hayes has done this before. What makes you so sure now?" He stares into my eyes.

I swallow, captivated by his eyes, "I-I Don't know.." I whisper still starring into his beautiful blue eyes.

He slightly smiles down at me, I do the same up to him, He looks to my lips quickly, Then looks into my eyes again, I look to his plump full lips. He slowly leans down, I get on my tip toes, As our lips are about to touch, A bright light flashes on both of us, Nash and I groan, hiding away from the light. Both the Jacks laugh, "GET SOME NASH!" Jack G yells.

I'm probably a bright red, "SHE'S EVEN BLUSHING!" Jack J yells.

Nash pulls me into his chest, I hide my face in his flannel shirt, "Stop." Nash laughs lightly.
