Violet POV)
I feel myself stretch out, reaching my hands towards the head board of the bed. I slowly flutter my eyes open while yawning. I turn my head and see Matt still asleep. I smile and scoot slowly closer to the edge of my side of the bed, I then swing my feet over the edge and slowly step down, making sure my leg doesn't hurt Much. Surprisingly it feels better.
I slowly get up and walk towards the balcony. I stand near the glass doors looking out upon the lake. I smile. It's a beautiful day today. I look to my left to see a table with a flower vase. I could of sworn that vase was on the dresser...
I shrug to myself and walk to the glass French doors, opening one slowly so I don't make any sound to wake Matt up. I look behind to see him turning the otherway while saying, 'Larry' I try not to laugh. I walk out shutting the door, going to the edge of the balcony, holding onto the wooden rail.
I smile and sigh, it's so peaceful here. I wish I could live here.. The sun is shining, birds chirping, green trees. No green everywhere. It's wonderful. I lean against the wooden rail, resting my elbows on it.
I look at the lake. The water moves in small waves, hitting against some sand and rocks. The water is crystal clear. I never noticed before. I hear a cough. I turn around swiftly to see Hayes. I swallow.
He's sitting in a chair with sun glasses on, ready for the day. He's wearing blue and white swim trunks, and a white tee, he's barefoot like me. He stands and walks towards me.
I turn around looking out at the beautiful water again. forgettting he's even here.
Crap. I don't even know how I look right now... I don't even have make up on. I look like shit most likely
He clears his throat, I look towards his direction, keeping my gaze on the ground. Then back to the water. I feel his eyes on me, "Yes?" I ask softly, not wanting any trouble this morning, it's too good of a day.
"Good morning," He starts resting his elbows on the rail like me.
He scoots slightly closer to me, "So, you and Matt yeah?" He asks sort of on edge.
I look to him for the first time, meeting his gaze through the sun glasses. I'm surprised he's asking this.. So calmly. "Um. Yeah I guess so.." I say looking towards our room, then back to his eyes.. or glasses.
"So, you and Bailey?" I ask.
Damn. I let that slip out. Didn't mean to say that! Damn it.. If only time travel was possible. Shit.
My eyes widen slightly. I then look back to the water. I'm surprised he isn't making a remark or saying something stupid.
"No. I thought I liked her, but I like another girl." He shrugs.
He likes another girl? Damn it...
"Oh... Who?" I ask curious.
He takes off his glasses, me seeing his beautiful eyes slightly. I then connect eyes with him again, "Why?" He chuckles.
He's chuckling. Like the old times.. I feel a smile tug on my lips. He smiles at me, "I can't really say her name." He shrugs.
I nod understanding, "I wouldn't say mine either." I chuckle.
He looks curious at me, "Isn't it Matt?"
Shit. Why do I have to swerve!? Or like ANYBOODY!? I need to really shut up. Why!?
"Y-Yeah.." I trail nervously.
He chuckles, "I have a question." He starts.
I turn fully towards him curious, "Shoot."
