personality: masaru is a calm type of person but if anyone pissed him off, he would make sure to watch them sleep at night (/j). a very loving man who does care for everyone especially the people that he's close with. he's also a little bit careless sometimes.

backstory: masaru is one of the shadow hashira. he has a sibling named, mika takeshi. he helped mika and make them as his tsuguko. became a demon slayer at 15 and a hashira at 20. by the time he reached at the age of 23, he fell ill and cannot fight. so he retired. his family especially mika tried to find a cure but there's no cure for the sickness. he always dreamt of wanting to be a writer but because of his family forcing him to become a demon slayer, he just had to become a slayer instead of a writer.
masaru talking about the hashira:
gyomei - such a very strong hashira! i respect him a lot! but his training is really difficult that it made me want to cry a lot.
sanemi - he's so loud and i don't like his anger. but one time, he yelled at this kakushi, maeda because maeda was caught sexually harassing a female demon slayer.. which i respect sanemi for doing that.
giyuu - he's so quiet and scary.
kanae - oh her! i really love her flower breathing technique! i heard that she and sanemi are always together! are they perhaps dating?
tengen - just how many wives does he have? i forgot. but he's very flamboyant!
shinjuro - he always attend the hashira meeting but lately, he didn't attend that much. he was drunk and scary when i visit him.
