backstory: miko was once named as fumiko kocho. in the village, she was famous for helping out a lot of people in the village. when someone takes her place, she was so jealous to the point that she poisoned the person. when people find out that it was fumiko who murdered someone, they tortured her which she managed to escape. apparently, muzan had found her, turning her into a demon.
