...
He opens the front door that leads to his apartment."This is where I live, welcome." He says.
I take my shoes off and look around.
It was clear a woman didn't live here - at least not a mentally stable one. - The place was dim, yet the dust forgotten on shelves and chests was noticeable. There was very few decoration and it was quite messy, a few random things in random spots could be found."Are your parents home?" I ask, looking for answers as to why this place looks the way it does.
"No, they aren't. I live here by myself. My parents thought it would be a great idea for me to have my own place to take care of and manage with a certain amount of money every month." He explains.
"Oh, I suppose that is great to get you ready for the future." I give my opinion.
"Yah, I guess so. I'm just happy with their decision because there's a lot more privacy and I enjoy spending time alone" He says and walks me to his room.
"This is my bedroom. I keep my gaming stuff here. You can make yourself comfortable while I go grab another chair and some snacks."I nod and say "I have some snacks here, in my bag. I forgot to eat them at school, so you don't have to bring too many."
He nods and leaves.
I look around his room. It looks just like the rest of the house. It's dim, messy and there's a few empty water bottles and cans here and there. His bed was made, surprisingly, and on top of it there was a mikasa volleyball and his equipment. Above the bed, on the wall, was a shelve with a few manga and books. Across the room, near the gaming setup, there was another shelve, but this one had games and merch.
After being satisfied with all the looking around I take a sit on the chair in front of the setup and start spinning around, waiting for him to return. When he does, he puts the chair down next to me and grabs a remote after turning the computer on.
"Have you finished the horror game?" He asks.
"I just have the last part to finish."
"I'm only halfway through, so we should play something else. Do you have anything in mind?" He asks me.
I shrug because I don't know what I feel like right now.
"You chose." I tell him."Alright. How about this one?" He points to a game I don't know. I think he noticed I wasn't aware of the game's contents, probably through my expression or my lack of words. "It's a game where we attack each other. It's more about the defence strategy. There aren't many ways to attack, but the attacks are very strong, so if you want to win you need a very well put out defence." He explains.
"Sounds interesting, let's play." I say and grab another controller.

We played a few rounds. The first few were for me to understand the game, but he ended up winning 5-4. I'll get him back one day.
There were still some snacks on the table. We got so into the game that we forgot to eat, but since we're done, we are now eating and talking about the game, like what can be improved for the game too be even better and some mistakes we made that lead us to lose against the other.
"You forgot to cover that part" he told me one of my mistakes that made him win this last round while pointing to screen. "So, I didn't tell you anything, because if I used this attack, my victory was granted." He looks at me now.
I nod and look at the screen, in order to avoid his eyes on me.
"You did put up a really good fight though. Very good!" His face shows that he is impressed with my skills. "Was this really your first time playing this?"
"Yeah, it was." I say and he responds with a smile.
The doorbell rings. We both get a little startled and he gets up to check who it was.
I stay in the bedroom, eating.
"Kenma, how did it go? Did you like Y/n?" I overhear Kuroo's loud voice as he welcomes himself in.
"Huuushhhh! Y/n is in my room." Kenma informs.
"In your room?!" Kuroo asks teasingly.
I can't see, but I just know Kenma rolled his eyes at that.
I hear footsteps approaching and soon enough both of them are in the room."Hii!" Greets Kuroo after jumping onto Kenma's bed.
"Hey! How did it go?" I greet back.
"What?" Kuroo doesn't follow.
"How did your last minute arrangement go?"
"Oh! That. Everything is good now so it went well." He lets me know.
"Great."
"I don't have enough shit for three players. How about a movie instead of a game?" Kenma interrupts.
"Fine by me."
"Me too."
"Ok then. Y/n, what would you like to watch?" He asks me, probably making sure that Kuroo knows he won't acknowledge his presence.
