The Hufflepuff Royalty

The Sorting Ceremony

     We get to the station and Vince, Greg, Theo, Astoria, and Blaise gets on the train to go find an empty compartment. Draco and I look at our parents and our mom hugs us tightly. "I can't believe it's time for you guys to leave.." Mom says as we hug her back. "Don't worry we will be back during break!" Mom and dad smiles before walking us to the train.
     Draco and I walk around looking for our friends. Eventually we find the compartment that they are in and I sit down next to Blaise as Draco sits down beside me. "Well hello there Blaise don't mind me i'm just going to take a nap." I say as I lay my head on his lap and puts my legs on top of Draco. Blaise laughs and shakes his head. "Of course Principessa." He then plays with my hair and smiles softly as I slowly fall asleep.
When the train is about an hour away from the school Draco wakes me up. "Princess you have to go put on your robes." I hear Blaise say as I rub my eyes and yawns then sits up. "Are we almost there already?" I ask and Astoria replies "Yes we are love now let's go get ready yes?" I nod slowly then Astoria and I grabs our robes.
We go and find an empty compartment and once we find one we go in and close the door and all the curtains then puts on our robes. After we finish Astoria looks at me and smiles wide. "It's finally almost time!" "I know! I can't wait until we get there!" I reply then she's hugs me tightly and I hug back. We go back to the compartment the boys are in who are now fully dressed in their robes. I sit down next to Blaise and kisses his cheek then kisses Draco's and lays my head on his shoulder. After a few minutes the train stops then we get up and walk off the train.
As soon as we get off we see a giant man. "First years follow me!" We hear him say then all of us first years follow him to boats. The boys share a boat since there isn't any room for all us to sit together so Astoria and I share a boat with some other female pureblood who are also in first year.
     After the boat ride we all go into the castle and stand out side of the great hall. Professor McGonagall stands in front of us all then starts to speak. Welcome to Hogwarts,' said Professor McGonagall. 'The start-of-term banquet will begin shortly, but before you take your seats in the Great Hall, you will be sorted into your houses. The Sorting is a very important ceremony because, while you are here, your house will be something like your family within Hogwarts. You will have classes with the rest of your house, sleep in your house dormitory and spend free time in your house common room. "The four houses are called Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin. Each house has its own noble history and each has produced outstanding witches and wizards. While you are at Hogwarts, your triumphs will earn your house points, while any rule-breaking will lose house points. At the end of the year, the house with the most points is awarded the House Cup, a great honour. I hope each of you will be a credit to whichever house becomes yours. The Sorting Ceremony will take place in a few minutes in front of the rest of the school. I suggest you all smarten yourselves up as much as you can while you are waiting."
After Professor McGonagall had walked away Draco had decided to start picking on some people. "So what they are saying on the train is true. Harry Potter has come to hogwarts." I watch him and shakes my head as continues on making fun another first year boy with red hair and old looking robes. Eventually Professor McGonagall comes back and leads into the great hall. I look around and see how many people there is and I start to get nervous so I move closer to Draco and grabs his hand tightly, he then looks at me and kisses my head gently as we continue walking and Blaise comes up beside me when we stop then he puts his arm around me and kisses me check. McGonagall starts calling names and all of my friends get put into Slytherin and Potter and his friend Weasley get put into Gryffindor. Then she calls out "Draco Malfoy!" He goes up and sits down as the hat is barely over his head the sorting hat shouts "Slytherin!" Oh boy.. I say in my head i'm next.. McGonagall then says "Stella Malfoy!" I gulp and go to sit down then I look over at Draco my twin then take a few deep breaths and sit up straight like a perfect pureblood should. The hat seems to take awhile to sort me what's going on? Why can't the hat just say Sly- "Hufflepuff!" The hat interrupts my thoughts and my eyes widen. "What Hufflepuff?!" I then get up keeping my chin up with near perfect posture then I go sit down near an older student. He welcomes me to Hufflepuff. Soon the sorting is finished and food appears on the table then i serve myself some food then I start to eat as the older student keeps talking to me. I soon learn that his name is Cedric Diggory.
After I finish eating I quickly get up and go over to Draco who hugs me and kisses my head. "Why did the hat put you in Hufflepuff.. now I can't see you all the time." I giggle and hug him back. "Oh please like I'm going to stay away from you all." Blaise gets up and picks me up chuckling. "I knew you were to kind to be here with us snakes." I roll my eyes and jokingly elbows his arm. "Oh come on Blaise you know you won't last five minutes without me." I say as I raise an eyebrow and laughs a bit.
Eventually everyone starts to leave the great hall including my friends except Blaise and Draco stays with us. They both hold out their arms and I hold onto them both as they walk me to my dorm. We all walk together laughing and talking. When we get to my dorm Draco kisses my head and says, "Good night mariposa." I smile softly as he walks away "Goodnight Dray!" Blaise then let's go of my arm and grabs onto my hand then walks with me into my dorm. I start to put away my stuff from my trunk and Blaise helps. After everything is put away we both sit down on my bed. Then I lay down laying my head on his lap as he plays with my hair.
After I fall asleep he kisses my head then leaves and goes to his dorm. After a while I wake up the next morning and put on my robes and I go do my hair along with brushing my teeth and washing my face. Then I put on a bit of makeup.When I finish I hear a knock on my door then I go and open it seeing everyone including Vince and Greg. I hug Astoria tightly as Theo rolls his eyes. I see him and giggles a little bit then I hug Draco and Blaise. I close my door as I walk out and like usual Draco and Blaise both hold out their arms then I took both of their arms. We all walk to the great hall. I go and sit down at the Hufflepuff table next to Cedric like I did yesterday as everyone else goes to sit down at the Slytherin table.
     After eating breakfast I get up and wait for Draco and Blaise as we walk out of the great hall. Then I see Severus my godfather and I run up to him hugging him tightly. Soon after Draco walks up behind me smiling. We talk to Severus for a bit as Blaise catches up to us then we all walk together. We all walk down to the dungeons to go to Severus's classroom.
