Back in BlackWood, not everything was bright and colorful it was mostly Dark and Black, that's because most of the time back in BlackWood, people in town usually volunteer to fight for their town and family cause' constantly they are being attacked by outsiders trying to steal their land and make it their own. Most people would ask, " Why not just Move? " Well dear reader, they can't just leave that would mean the enemies have won, and their hometown is no more. You see, Conner, his brother, Mother, and Arrow are a few of those Volunteer's of course they would do anything to protect their families right, I mean wouldn't you do anything to keep your family safe? But, whatever happens next they were not prepared for.

One morning back in BlackWood, Lunar was getting ready for the town's Day Of Joy, as they would call it because it was their 7th year safe in BlackWood, Lunars family was mainly the ones celebrating it, but, this year was different.

Lunars Pov:

This year went off like any other year here in BlackWood but, I wasn't worried about the year's big Festival this time, I was worried about my friend, Andres, Afterall I CAN say that now since we've known each other for a year now, How? You ask, We meet in secret, of course, Don't look at me like that! If my brother knew I was trying to make friends with this Picture Perfect cover model then I would never see him again, and he's not a bad guy, he's just overwhelmingly perfect, not that that's bad it's just some people can't stand his perfection reflecting back on them, Andres and I usually at night time would hang out near a creek in the woods, yes the big creepy forest named after this place, every time we head to the creek it would always be so Erry and creepy, but, when we start a conversation it's like there wasn't anything to be afraid of, Andres is the kind of guy you would want to come to with all your problems cause he does have the correct answers for them, For example, when I was having a bad day and refused to hangout with him cause I wasn't feeling up to it, Andres respected that but, still he knew something was wrong, so he decided it would be best to ATLEAST cheer me up, so you know what he did? Just that, by bringing me to his town, I was really annoyed until I was in his town for a few hours, everything was WAY more colorful than BlackWood, all the people were more cheerful and happier with their lives, and EVERYONE was working, One time I asked Andres,

" Hey, Where are all the Town Fighters? "

And he looked at me and laughed, He said.

" Town Fighters? We don't need those where I come from, the Encanto protects us from any harm or anybody from taking over the town. "

It was true, the Encanto did make it easier to live, nobody had to fight for their people, nor did they have to die doing so, but, then I wonder how would anyone survive if the Encanto were to break? Nobody would be able to fight or Exspect something bad happening, how could I blame them? They were spoiled into thinking nothing was gonna happen that their safety as long as the candle burns, Something in me felt the urge to blow out the candle and see how everyone reacts, but, that would also mean betraying Andres and hurting him, We arrived at the Casita that morning, and he showed me around for a bit before he introduced me to his Familia, Dolores was the first one to notice my light footsteps and immediately came up to me and introduced herself first.

" Hello, I am Dolores, Andres Older sister. "

She said shaking my hand then she asked.

" Are you Andres new girlfriend? "

I blushed a little bit after she said that and I looked over my shoulder to see a frozen Andres standing still looking like he had just seen a ghost Andres didn't look like he knew what to say, for the first time so I stepped up.
