Things aren't always what they seem

Prologue

How did everything become this way? Only a few years ago we were all laughing and living a peaceful life. " Cris, you have to stop coming here..." A voice filled with worry and sorrow was spoken but never heard.

The land was coated with moonlight that made even the most ignorant person see its beauty. A lone figure is sitting little ways from the stone. Eyes filled with pain as raging as the sea and as lonely as a wolf. 

The sea of pain is leaking out of those lonely eyes. "I'm so sorry...I never meant for this to happen." The source of the mystery voice that was unheard felt nothing for the lone figure. 'If only I could at least remember why I cared so much for you all even after the accident...'

A flash of light happens and now the scene is an all-black area. "Enough with the narrating creators. If you're going to tell my tale for me, at least start from the beginning." A girl with a stare that can see all of your desires, fears, and Ambitions. 

"What did I just say?" She's annoyed with me. Well, she's right about one thing, we have to start at the beginning if we want to tell a story right! "Just get to the point already creator." come on now if I'm going to explain what happen before you got here then let me do it my way!! Anyway, let's not waste time anymore and rewind the clock 20 years ago when it had all started.

"Micheal! Micheal-" A ravenette called out in desperation to find her beloved brother. Her lungs felt like the fire of the building had made their way into her lung like a snake. The fire around the girl was blazing hotter than a thousand stars. 

She had made her way through the burning building with the hope that she could find her brother. She jumped and dodged falling pieces from the ceiling.

Loud screeching and roars filled her ears as a metal bob decorated with masks appeared. The creature lunged at her but the ravenette duct at the last second but the creature's claws managed to land a hit on her shoulder.

The girl hissed in pain clutching her shoulder. " Is-s the Nightguard H-hurt?" Cruel laughter erupted from the melting creature. The lady didn't waste any time running away from the creature. The fire was trying to grab her from left to right. The chase lasted until a piece of the ceiling fell on the creature knocking it out.

The lady just went ahead from the burning pile with no hesitation. The ravenette clutch her shoulder and started to run to an office. The doors are wide open with the fire clawing at them. A cry for help was heard from the flames.

She ran in to help the voice from the hellfire. The smoke inside was a lot more than in the rest of the pizzeria. A loud groan was heard from under the desk."M̸̦̹̲̲̙ͮi̓̔҉̳͇̖c̨̮̖̠̠̼͇̀ͪ̅̉ͅh̷̙̲̮̘̖̲͙͚̆e͇̻̭̲͚̗ͭͬ́a̾͏̙̣l̡̳̘͉̺̰̥̠ͣ̒ͦͣͅ,!!" The girl ran to help the lad up before the place went down to hell. "Come on you big baby we got to finish the job." She struggled to get him up but they manage to get him to his feet.

"Easier said than done short-stack" The man chuckled weakly and walked out the room with the girl's help. A loud snap was heard from above with pillars coming down. The male was pushed out the way with the female being crushed under the pillars. The female cried put to pain.

Tears rolled down her face that mixed with the blood on her face. The man ran to her side and try to lift the pillars off her." N̶̨̡̟͙͚̞̫̪̔͊͐̋̈́ͅả̸͙̠͎̆͒̒̓̓͝l̴̡̡̢̢̫͛̓͛͑̓̔͊͝a̵̧̡̯̼̙̤͚͙̔̈́̒̀͛̀̒̚͜͝!̴̢͈͙͚͈̯͇̤̝͎̅̋̄͑̀͠ Get up! Fucking get up damn it!!!" He struggled to try to lift the pillars. The girl gave him a sad smile as she gets weaker.

"Please, it's no use... just finish the job..."

"Not without you!!"

" We promised-"

"I don't give a damn about that promise if it means I leave you!!!"

The man failed to get the pillars off his companion dropping to the ground in despair. He punched the ground out of frustration. "Damn it all!!" Tears are in his eyes as he curses the man who starts all this in the first place. The lady felt her time finally coming to an end and with her final breath she said

" I love you for infinity my brother M̸̩̥͈̰͔̟̦̻̔̊̂ͭì̴̤͈̻͓̫̭̳̉ͤc̪̲͑͘h͍̜͕̜͚̯̲̖ͣͣ̆͞e̞̲̞̘͚̯ͥ͆͐̈͝a̢̯͚̜ͪ̚l̫͓̳̞͒͡ ̟͖̹͛͋̓͊͡A̶̮̜̩͚̼͓̣̘ͩ͒f̡̬͍̠̠͚͈̀͐̓ͅt̴̩̲ͫo̩͍͖̩̮̓ͪ̚͡ͅn̸̹͈̮̬̍."

She dropped down exhausted and tired from the events that took place before the fire. Her vision had started to get blurry and her hearing started to go out. "--La! Pl--se --n't d-" A blurred figure called out to the girl but she couldn't see nor hear him. The last thing she saw was his void eyes and him begging her to stay.

I will be honest to the people that know of the old story I got rid of it because

 1. it was going too much of fast pace

2. I and my co-author were doing things that should have waited to happen at the wrong time.

3. The story was all over the place and not going in the direction we wanted 

4. We came up with a better storyline than before and it does make since
