Y/n POV

I was sitting in the corner of my local library, reading y/f/b. I was so embedded in my book, that I didn't notice someone sit in front of me. That was until I felt someone lightly kick my foot. I looked up to see c/n sitting in front of me with a book in his hands. I felt my cheeks go red.

"I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to kick you." c/n said shutting his book and placing it onto the table in front of us.

"Oh it's ok!" I said smiling up at him. I was about to get back into my book when c/n spoke again.

"What are you reading?" He asked me.

"Y/f/b." I replied pushing my glasses back up my nose.

"Is it good?" He asked me, as he opened his book again.

"Yes! I definitely recommend it." I said smiling down at the book that laid in my hands.

C/n didn't reply he just smiled. We both opened our books again and went back to reading.

About an hour passed, and I looked at my phone to see what the time was. 6:00pm. Shit I was meant to be back home an hour ago. I quickly shut my book and placed it in my tote bag, along with my phone and glasses. It was only when I looked up that c/n was still here and... staring at me?

"Do you have to go?" He asked me, with a frown on his face.

"I'm afraid so. I was meant to be home an hour ago." I said flinging my bag over my shoulder. I was about to leave when c/n suddenly said.

"Wait! I'll walk you home." He said with a smile on his face. I tried to hide my smile and nodded.

We left the library and started walking to my house. It wasn't a long walk, only ten minutes. But it felt like it only lasted five with c/n walking beside me. We didn't say anything on the way to my house, we both stayed silent, but it wasnt an awkward silent, it was a comforting one. We were about halfway to my house when a gust of wind hit us, causing me to shiver. C/n must of noticed because the next thing I knew he was taking his jacket off and placing it over my shoulders.

"Thank you." I said taking in his scent. He nodded as he smiled. His smile was perfect, I could look at it all day. However, we soon reached my house and I had to say goodbye.

I walked in doors, closing my eyes and leaning against the front door taking in everything that had happened just that evening.

"And what time do you call this young lady!" My mum shouted at me. I rolled my eyes and mumbled a sorry.

~ The Next Day ~

I walked into school, with my tote bag on my right shoulder and c/n jacket in my left hand. I forgot to give it back to him last night. I started walking in the direction of the cafeteria. I saw him sitting at a table on his own with a book in his hands. I assumed it was the one he was reading yesterday at the library, but when I got closer I noticed it was the same one I was reading yesterday.

"Hey uh c/n?" I said standing in front of him. He shut his book and looked up, going bright red when he saw me.

"Oh hey y/n. Are you ok?" He asked me, moving his book to the side. "Take a seat."

I sat down opposite him placing my tote bag on the floor.

"I forgot to give this back to you yesterday." I said handing him his jacket.

"keep it." He said pushing it back to me.

"What?" I asked, not sure if I had heard him right.

"Keep it. It looks better on you then it does me anyway." He replied slightly shrugging a tint of red on his cheeks.

I nodded trying to hide my red cheeks.

"Oh yeah. I forgot to ask you yesterday," I nodded showing him I wanted to carry on.

"Want to go out sometime?"

"What like a date?" I asked.

"Only if you want it to be." He said smiling.

"I'd like that." I said smiling.

We took each others numbers and said goodbye again, heading off in different directions to our classes. As I was walking to class, my phone went off. I grabbed my phone out of my tote bag and unlocked it, seeing a message from c/n. I smiled as I read it.

C/n!

I smiled at the message.
