Clay POV

"Corpse? What kind of name is that?", I scoffed, leaning back, putting my arm on the armrest.
"I named myself that when I was ten", the guy with the black curls in front of me explained, not looking at me, just as I didn't look at him either.

"What?", I threw him a confused and disgusted glare.
"I was a stubborn kid. I didn't want anyone to give me a name since my parents died and weren't able to. I never accepted the names they wanted to call me. At the age of 10 I came up with the name Corpse. And since that people call me that and I got used to it", he sighed.

"How old are you?", I raised an eyebrow.
"22. What about you?"
4 years older, huh.
"18. Just like George", I kept my look away from him.

"You know him well?", Corpse eventually asked, causing me to finally bring my eyes to him.
"Very well", I said proudly.
"Mhm", he just mumbled.
"Do you know him well?", I lifted my chin lightly.
"Hm", he laughed quietly, "better than you might think."

"Oh, yeah?", I got provoked, sitting up straight, "you haven't seen him in a long time. You sure?"
He just smirked, looking to the floor. I didn't like that bastard at all.
"Hot cocoa", George broke the followed silence, walking in and reaching both of us a hot cup.

"Hey George, wanna fill up some old memories?", Corpse eventually asked after taking his first sip.
"Hm?", George raised his eyebrows at him.
"The lakes are frozen. We could ice skate", he smiled broadly.
"Oh, sure!", Georges voice rose in excitement.

"You skate too?", I nodded to Corpse.
"We skated together. He used to be my best and only friend back then. Whenever uncle wasn't there, I was alone with Corpse, skating. Was always a nice time. I missed you actually", George said, his glance wandering to his cousin.

I just huffed in annoyance and kept on drinking my hot chocolate.

"Then why not right now?", Corpses deep voice rang through my ears.
"Euh, sure! I wanted to go for a walk any minute anyway, so let's do it. I'd love to", I could hear the bright smile of my boyfriend.
For the next few minutes we sat on the couch, drinking our cups until they were empty. George and Corpse sometimes talked about this and that, I stayed silent all the time, just listening to them.

George sat in between us, turned to Corpse and sitting close to him. I sat a bit further away on the other end of the sofa.
"Oh my god", George giggled, "I had almost forgotten about that."
"Hm?", I wanted to join the conversation when I had taken my last sip.

"When we were younger, we used to prank uncle Dave sometimes and.....", he burst out laughing, making me smile at his cute expression.
Then Corpse started telling a story of them playing around with his uncle, since George couldn't catch his breath anymore.

"So, when George was 14, you were 18, right?", I eventually asked.
"Yeah", George gave me a confused glance.
"When did you get to know each other? And when did the contact?", I asked more and more.
"Euh....I think I was 10 when we met for the first time...", George made a thinking expression, "....And I think we haven't seen each other for about 2 years now, right?"

With a nod from Corpse, I nodded too, looking into the distance.
"Alright, I'm done! Wanna go?", Corpse slapped his thighs slightly, sitting up straight.
"Okay", George stood up, followed by his cousin.
"Hey, where are you staying, Corpse?", I grabbed his wrist when he was walking past me.

"In a hotel about a mile away. Why?", he pulled his arm away.
"Just wanted to know", I also stood up, "Let's go then."
"You come with us?", he raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah, he can skate well too", George said, taking his jacket from the hook in the wall next to the entrance.

"Okay, then let's go to the stand that sells ice skates back there and get going", Corpse stated, bringing his hands together for a clap.

We were walking to the said stand and borrowed skates. $10 each for 5 hours. Then we went around, searching a lake whose ice was thick enough. When we had found one, no people in sight, we put on the skates.
"Is it legal to do that without it being an official place for ice skating?", George asked when he stood up.
"Yeah, why shouldn't it?", Corpse nodded, following him.

The ice was incredibly slippery and I struggled to stand straight at first. Corpse, of course, went full speed immediately. His hands behind his back, he drove a few rounds on the lake.
George needed some time to get used to the ice too, but soon joined him.
I followed George as soon as I managed to skate properly.

"You still got it, huh~", Corpse smiled at George.
He reached his hands out for him, skating backwards as George was about to grab his hands.
Quickly, I speeded up, grabbing my boyfriend from behind and slid with him over the platform.

"Ah, Clay!", George giggled, holding onto my arms, "We're gonna fall!"
"I got you, it's fine", I kissed his cheek gently.
His feet between mine, we slid a few metres over the ice until we stopped.

"What's your relationship to that guy?", I whispered when we were far enough away from Corpse.
"What? He's- he's my cousin?", he looked confused.
"And do you know that he feels the same?", I clenched my teeth, thinking about that stupid smile Corpse had given him before.
"What? Yes, of course. What's wrong?", George turned his head to the side when I kissed his shoulder to look at me.

"I love you, you know that", I looked deep into his eyes.
"And I love you too", he smiled cutely.
"Good", I grabbed his shoulders, turning him around and pressed my lips on his.

When we skated back to Corpse, he looked at us with an awkward expression.
"Alright, wanna show your boyfriend some cool tricks we can do?", Corpse bent down to George and grinned at him.
"What?", the small boy giggled, "I don't even know if I still can do them."
"C'mon, I'm sure you are", he grabbed his hand, driving a few metres away with him. I stood there, waiting for something to happen.

Then they began to just skate around until, eventually, George skated further away from his cousin, stopping after a while, so that there would be some distance between them. He turned to him, taking a deep breath in before breathing out intensely like he was preparing for something wildly.

Suddenly he started racing towards Corpse. When he had reached him, Corpse grabbed his waist while George jumped up. Holding George in the air, Corpse slowly turned around and around on the same spot. George held his arms to the sides, his legs stretched straight and his head held up.

It looked beautiful. But what was more important and triggering for me was the way Corpses strong arms were holding George, his hands tightly on his waist. It made me go insane.
