He was currently the studio making a special song for kehlani something he was gonna play at their wedding reception.
The days were ticking and there wedding was just 3 days away. Time was flying, and he couldn't be happier that this what his life had become.
"I, you should bet on me, Eyes, keep 'em set on me, yeah, You choose, you, you, ooh" he closed his eyes expression all his feelings. He wanted her to feel him and know that he was serious and loved her truly.
"Don't decide on me, you could count on me, yeah 'Round I go ,Havin' you make me feel like I won the Super Bowl 'Cause you super, super, super, super" he lowly sing before signaling that he was done.
Taking the headphone off his ear he inhaled the blunt before exhaling it blowing O's then evily smiling randomly laughing.
"say mane how that sounded? you think she gon like it?" He asked his engineer Jason who nodded putting a thumbs up as he beginning to mix and perfect the song.
"I can't believe I'm getting married in 3days mane" Kentrell leaned back in the chair staring at the ceiling.
"I can man, you been talking about this day for the past months" Jason laughed.
"cause it don't seem real to me y'know?" Kentrell childishly cheesed. "I really can't wait to meet my lil girl her stubborn ass still ain't here"
"I thought you was doing the baby bumb-"
"I still do want to see her with her baby bumb but sometimes I can't help wanting daughter to get here faster slime" he coughed inhaling to much.
"you know how long I been wanting a daughter? I got 4 li boys no daughters" he shook his head "shit overdue"
"your daughters gonna make you softer" Jason continue to mix several songs that had just recorded while actively talking to Kentrell.
They had a bond outside of him just engineering and mixing Kentrell music. They had become close friends by just conversating and spending time in the studio with one another.
They actually meet through rich the kid, Kentrell's brother/friend. Jason usually mixed rich music but he was introduced to Kentrell for the album rich and Kentrell did.
After that Kentrell had liked his worked attics and asked Rich for his number and the rest was history. They've made some hit songs together.
