Skyler Rose apperated into Kings Cross with her mother. "Hurry sweetie or you'll miss the train," her mother said practically running. "Calm down Mum it doesn't leave for another 5 minutes besides I can't hurry with all this luggage" Skylar complained pushing her cart with her trunk and pet cat, Tiger. "I know I just want to be early just in case," her mother said. Skyler rolled her eyes, but walked a little faster.

They got to the train and Skyler's mother kissed her goodbye, "Bye mum," she said a little embarrassed her mom kissed her in front of people even though she did it every year, she sort of did like it, but she had to act like she didn't. "Goodbye Skyler be good at school," her mom reminded her. "Mom I've got to go or I'll miss the train," Sky laughs. "Ok," her mother sighs. Sky laughs again and gets on the train, she goes to the compartment she and her other Ravenclaw friend's usually sit in. "Hey Samantha," Sky says to her friend as she walks in. "Hey Skyler have you heard the news?" Samantha Parks asks excited. "Samantha you know I've been in Romania helping my dad with dragons this summer I haven't heard much news," Sky shrugs. "Oh that's right and you probably wouldn't have heard it anyway I think they haven't realised it yet," Samantha remarks. Her dad works for the daily prophet and usually hears things before other people and tells everything to Samantha. "So what is it?" Skyler asks curious. "Well apparently Headmaster Armando Dippet wanted to mix things up this year. So he has a house exchange program going, one person from each house is going to be chosen to go to another house for a whole year. Isn't that so cool?" Samantha says excited, she loves getting and sharing news, Skyler always said that Samantha would work in the Daily Prophet just like her dad. Suddenly the door to our compartment flew open and Eleanor Diegle, their other friend, walked in. "Where have you been?" Samantha asks interested. "A 7th year in Gryffindor claimed to have a rackspurt and I just had to see if he was lying or not, obviously he was," Eleanor rolled her eyes and pets her bunny, Flare. "For the last time Eleanor you know a rabbit isn't allowed at school," Skyler sighs seeing Flare. Eleanor shrugs, "What Headmaster Dippet knows won't hurt him," she says, "Besides he's a good bunny." "Good bunny?!" Samantha exclaims indignantly glaring at Flare, "He ate my textbooks!" Flare looks innocently at her "Oh come on Samantha get over it that was in the first year," Eleanor laughs, "Besides it wasn't his fault I forgot to feed him." "Well don't forget to feed them this time," Samantha snaps, the two continued to argue and Skyler pulled out a book to zone them out and this continued until the train arrived at Hogsmeade station and they left for school.
