"Open fire!" Exclaimed a demon.
A volley of magical arrows was unleashed in the direction of Suisei's party. One of the arrows landed on Suisei's shoulder.
"Shit..." Mumbled Suisei as she felt the pain of an arrow making contact with her flesh.
"Suisei?! Are you alright?!" Asked Flare in a loud and panicked tone as she spots Suisei getting hit with an arrow.
"It's an ambush!" Yelled Yuuki as arrows fly past his face, barely missing.
"I'm f-fine..." Replied Suisei as she gets hit with another arrow, this time on the left side of her left leg."
"Suisei!" Yelled Flare as she sees the condition that Suisei is in.
"Holy Sword Excalibur!" Yelled Yuuki as his sword starts to radiate a bright yellow light.
Holy Sword Excalibur, a Light Elemental Spell, is a spell that enhances the weapon of the caster. This skill is specifically effective against Dark Elementals and members of the demon race.
"Suisei, are you alright?!" Asked Flare as she ran to Suisei.
"Y-yeah, I'm f-fine... are the others a-alright?-" Replied Suisei, struggling to stand up.
"Flare-sama?! What are you doing?! Get up before we're all toast!" Yelled Yuuki as he deflects a volley of arrows with his sword.
"O-oh- y-yeah..." Replied Flare, stuttering as she witnessed her friends, fighting to survive.
"Stay still, I'll protect you..." Said Flare as she stood up.
"T-thank you..." Replied Suisei, struggling to speak.
"Rain of Hell Fire!" Exclaimed Flare as blazing arrows fell from the sky.
Rain of Hell Fire, a Fire Elemental Skill, is a skill that once cast will rain down volleys of flaming arrows.
"Sing you useless Normal Elemental! What're you doing just sitting there?!" Yelled Yuuki as he slew a demon with his sword.
"Yuuki?! What is wrong with you?!" Yelled Flare as her arrows incinerated every demon unlucky enough to come in contact with them.
"Ano sora de kagayaita nagareboshi wo oikakete..." Sung Suisei as she began to cast Encourage Song.
"This is a matter of life and death, Flare! We can't let her slow us down!" Replied Yuuki as he swore sliced another demon.
"There's more coming from the north!" Exclaimed Aoi as she used her Tracer skill.
"Shit..." Said one of the party members as he slew another demon with his fists.
"Retreat immediately!" Yelled Flare as the sound of even more demons approached them.
"You don't have to tell me twice..." Replied another party member as he picked up Aoi and started evacuating out of the forest with the others.
"Come on, Flare! We need to get going!" Yelled Yuuki as he reflects another volley of arrows.
"We can't leave Suisei behind!" Exclaimed Flare as she spots the blue-haired girl struggling to stand up after being hit with a third arrow.
"We have no choice but to leave her behind! She's a useless Normal Elemental anyways!" Replied Yuuki as he grabbed Flare's hand and started running out of the forest with her.
"Let go of me!" Yelled Flare as she looked back at the weak and defenseless girl, unable to stand up.
"I'm sorry commander but we cannot lose you." Replied Yuuki as he continued running while dragging Flate.
