Chapter 8: Shadows of Betrayal

Ayakas music career soared, she held her spot in class 1-A. The class seemed to be a bit weird when it came to lunch time, they noticed that Ayaka never left the classroom, nobody ever saw her eat. She got strange looks from everyone around her even her own brother seemed to look at her funny. She spent most of her time with the bakusquad mostly because Shinsou had other things and Denki didn't want to leave his squad alone so she just silently followed them around. They found Shinsou out with another boy who is in Class 1-B, Neito Monoma. He was Known to have a crush on Shinsou and he would try anything to get what he wanted. The boys seemed to be laughing and eating ice cream, even wiping each other's faces to get rid of the ice cream.

"Ayaka" Mina called holding out a bottle of water for her.

"Thanks," Ayaka muttered, taking the bottle and slipping it into her bag.

"Im hungryyy" Denki whined.

"Then let's go get some ramen," Kiri called, sounding over excited.

The group ordered and sat down, Ayaka chose to sit in the corner next to denki and just pulled out her book and started writing down random lines of lyrics.

"Ayaka, are you not eating?" Kiri noticed her lack of food.

"No, I'm not hungry," Ayaka quickly answered.

They dropped the conversation and continued to eat. Ayaka had been so busy writing random lyrics that she didn't notice everyone in the group staring at her.

"What?" she questioned

"I've noticed that you never eat around people," Kiri muttered.

"I'm just never hungry when I'm around people," she answered, putting her notebook back in her bag.

They again dropped the topic and left heading back towards the school passing Shinsou and Neito on the way back.

Ayaka had been working on many more songs but again she was more focused on her hero career. The topic of her not eating became harder and harder to cover up, that and denki now seemed to be distancing himself from her and the whole thing with shinosu seemed to be a heated topic among school. 

Ayaka found it weird that both boys had just ditched her, shinsou is off with Neito having fun and hanging out, denki is off with his squad and trying so hard to distance himself from her, Even hawks hadn't been around again. He was off on a secret mission. Ayaka had been staying in her room and writing her music, she never came out at meal times but she was always in class on time, her uniform was neat and clean.

"hey Ayaka" A female voice called from the other side of her door.

"its opened" Ayaka called back. 

The door opened and in walked Uraraka her short brown hair had been tied into a low ponytail, she wore a black singlet top and a baggy pair of sweatpants. she looks like she had been sweating. 

"hey Ayaka" she called looking up down at ayakas floor. 

"hey, What's up?" Ayaka asked looking at the girl. 

"Bakugou wanted me to tell you he wants you to come to dinner" She called, still looking at the ground. 

"oh okay i'll come now thank you for letting me know" Ayaka called hopping up from the couch and heading out the door. Leaving the other girl still standing at the door. 

Reaching the kitchen Ayaka found the rest of the class eating away at the pasta dish that bakugou had cooked. She looked over and found that shinsou and denki were looking very uncomfortable with her in the room. 

"EAT" Bakugou screamed at Ayaka.

Ayaka took the bowl and started walking away from the dining room and back down the hall to her room. Sitting the bowl on the table ayaka curled up on her couch and fell asleep.  Soon she heard her bedroom door open and someone pick up the bowl from the table. 

"next time ill make you eat in the kitchen with me after everyone left" Whispered the voice.

The person walked out then returned a couple minutes later picking up the sleeping girl and placing her in bed even tucking her in. 

"Goodnight" the voice whispered before leaving the room, turning off the light and closing the door.
