Chapter 14: Burden of Guilt

The following days after Izukus outburst had been very stressful for Ayaka. The voice in her head and the pain in her arm never seemed to completely disappear. Izuku stayed in the hero course but now has a pro hero always with him. It's either present mic or Aizawa no higher pro hero would let All Might be alone with izuku unless training then another pro would be with them. Ayaka spent most of her time bunked up in her little room, spending even meal times alone. Her older brother Shiggy messaged her.
"Sis" typed shiggy.
"Yes?" She typed back.
Only three dots sat on Ayakas screen as she awaited his message. Knock knock ran against her door.
"Come in" she called looking towards her door. In walked Aizawa, Hawks and, Shinsou followed by Denki. Her purple haired lover closed the door before taking a seat at her desk chair while Denki sat on her bean bag which left the two pro hero's to sit on the couch. Ayaka quickly closed her laptop lid as she realised the chat was still open and in clear sight of being seen.
"What's wrong sensei?" Ayaka asked, looking directly at the two pro hero's.
"We want to talk about what happened with you and Izuku," Hawks answered.
Ayaka looked at her two lovers who seemed to be minding their own business, denki was typing on his phone and shinsou was drawing away on paper that was sitting on her desk.
"What about it?" Ayaka responded back.
Hawks looked straight at Aizawa who was just silently watching Ayakas reactions.
"They want to know why he acted that way, kitten," Shinsou muttered, looking up only briefly.
Ayaka nodded towards her purple haired lover before turning her attention back to the two heroes.
"Yes I understand now, I'm unsure of what caused his reaction but..." Ayaka started speaking but unfortunately never finished speaking.
Shinsou had activated his quirk and looked directly into Ayakas green and red mixed eyes.
"What did he say to you?" Shinsou said, his voice sounding robotic and with no emotion.
"Choose" was all she muttered back, her normally emotion filled eyes were now an empty void.
"What does he want you to choose?" Shinsou again asked.
"Between family and hero's" her response came.
"Why?" Denki muttered.
"My father and older brother are villains" she spoke, turning her head towards Denki who realised that she was in full control of what she was saying, and shinsou's quirk had no effect.
"What brought this on" Hawks spoke, nodding to shinsou to drop his quirk.
Shinsou deactivated his quirk and went back to drawing away on the paper in front of him.
"They were there on the holidays" Ayaka replied, picking up her laptop and logging back in to view shiggys message which still didn't come through.
"Why does he want you to choose though?" Aizawa asked, looking more and more confused.
"Cause mum never raised me, dad did but izuku thinks I was in America, which then when I hugged them he thinks I'm a traitor and wants to expose me by making me choose whether I want family or hero's" Ayaka spoke shrugging her shoulders while reading the text message that shiggy finally sent.
"Hey sis we heard what happened between you and izuku, I hope your okay and well mums upset that izuku would raise his hand on you, she's currently at the base so don't go home stay at the dorms and please remember to eat even if you don't feel like it, I love you sister." Shiggy had typed.
Ayaka quickly closed her laptop looking back at the two adults.
"Sorry just an important email I was waiting for" she muttered an excuse in seconds as she went back to answering questions.
"Why didn't your mother raise you?" Aizawa asked, looking like he could cry.
"Izuku hated me and my mother thought it would be best to send me to my father so Izuku would calm down," Ayaka replied.
"Why did izuku hate you?" Hawks asked as Aizawa was unable to.
"I had five quirks and he was put down as quirkless but he ended up being a late bloomer" Ayaka responded back not really caring that she didn't tell the whole truth, Izuku might hate her but she's gonna keep his secret.
"So explain the part where you went to your dads" hawks asked.
"Sure, so when Izuku and I were four living in a two bedroom apartment this meant that we had to share a bedroom. I didn't mind it that much. izuku's  All Might merch was all over the room while I kept my eraserhead merch packed away and in good condition it still is. Our father brought home our oldest brother shiggy yes he's adopted, but that meant there was three little kids crammed into a small bedroom, but going to our fifth birthday our mother took izuku and I to the doctor who told izuku he was quirkless and that I held five quirks. This upset Izuku to the point I was living on the couch and he and Shiggy got to share the room. Fast forward our dad leaves with shiggy to keep our family safe and out of villians life style izuku was at middle school with bakugou and I was at a separate school until dad enrolled me into shinsou's  school where I then moved up to where he lived and we told izuku that I got a scholarship in a school overseas. I then returned to the day of the entrance exam where he saw me as the kid I am now" Ayaka said, looking towards Shinsou for half of it.
All four of them were speechless but Aizawa was the first to recover.
"You have my merch?" Aizawa spoke looking so proud of himself.
"Yes, it's all up there" Ayaka spoke pointing to the top of her tv where all her merch sat including a jumper that was hanging up next to the tv.
"Aww, anyways thanks for the information we should be heading out now" Aizawa responded hopping up and heading towards the door with hawks in tow.
Ayaka picked her laptop back up and onto the message from shiggy.
"Thanks for letting me know of mum's location, I'll try to eat where I can and i love you too dipshit" Ayaka typed back.
