*Matthew is an Incubus, a type of demon that can feed off of the feeling of love and/or pleasure from sex, kissing, or sexual touch in which they need to feed on to survive. Matthew does not often show his Incubus side, but will reveal it to Keith and Matthew and is able to control it. Matthew is often shy, timid, and gets embarrassed easily, blushing at the slightest touch or compliment from his two best friends, Keith Jun-Seok and William Hitoshi. Matthew is a cutesy nerd at heart and he loves cute nerdy things. Matthew and his friends were born and raised in America and had met when they were in high school. Matthew is American and can speak English well, but he can also speak and understand multiple languages, mostly speaking in Japanese and Korean.
Matthew, Keith, and William move to Japan later on after high school to attend Hybrid University and to build their own shop together named The Sweets Shop, a shop that sells sweets, but is also a cafe selling other foods too. All of them have the talent for making sweets of all sorts, but they also have a talent for making other delicious foods. Matthew likes to be with his friends and have fun while working together at their shop. Matthew, Keith, and William attend the same classes and they all take Culinary Arts so they can hone their skills and make many types of food, not just sweets. Matthew is in love with Keith and William, but he is unsure if they feel the same way about him.
Matthew, however, doesn't know that Keith and William are both in love with him. Matthew has black ear tufts, black splotch markings over his eyes, heart-shaped pupils with red outlined diamonds, white demon horns on the sides of his head, and a long demon tail with a light pink and blue tuft of fur at the tip. Matthew wears circle-framed glasses and a black choker with a golden bell. Matthew can create white flames with his horns and he can levitate things with his mind, create/manipulate any type element, and has a Love Spell ability. With Love Spell, Matthew can make people fall in love with him and do what he wants, having complete and total control over their mind/body. However, he only uses it when he is harmed or in trouble and when his powers are activated, his eyes glow.
Matthew has an aura that he exposes depending on whether he wants it to be fed from or not. Matthew's aura smells like sweets, baked goods, and fresh fruits and he exposes his whole aura to only Keith and William. Without using his aura, Matthew's scent is fresh and sweet with a fruity hint. Matthew also lives with both Keith and William in an apartment above their shop and they are the only ones that work at The Sweets Shop.
