CHAPTER 5

(SAME  DRESS AS THE PREVIOUS CHAPTER)

He leads her down to the Vault making her heart beat faster with fear and shock that he is even allowed to go down there without Allfather's wish.

Suddenly he stops making her stumble to her feet and grasp his cape to stand on her feet as he had her wrist in a tight grip. They stop in front of the Casket making her eyes widen ''Wha-what are we doing down here?''

He growls and push her forward, her hands grasp the table that the Frostgiant relic is located for better balance earning a sharp breath from her ''We were robbed daughter.'' He starts circling her, her eyes lock to the old relic.

He continues talking, his eyes never left her shaky form ''I was never Frigga's son. Nor Odin's. I was never Thor's brother.'' He growl the last part and stop right behind her, his hands went to her shoulders rubbing with his thumps her neck making her whimper for what is to come.

''You saw what is about to happen. You saw what I am about to do. Yet you failed to see what we are truly are daughter.'' His voice right on her ear, her heartbeats increased with every passing minute ''You failed to see what kind of monsters we are.''

Her eyes widened and her breathes come out from her lips as slow and painfully whispers ''What kind of monsters?''

He chuckles at her words and stroke her blonde hair, that hair that remind him so much of his first love, his only love and wife and inhaled her sweet scent closing his eyes as she smelled like lavender and peach ''The monsters that parents tell their children about at night. The monsters Odin and Erik and Freya told you about. We are relics that want a place to someone's heart. We were never fit to the Throne or in Asgard. We were robbed from our home.''

Her hands shakes as she hears those words coming out from her father's lips ''What do you mean?''

She yelps suddenly as he grasps her shoulders and turn her around to face him, his eyebrows were knit together in anger, his vein on his forehead popped out ''We are not Asgardians. We were never Asgardians. We are the children of Laufey. I am Loki Laufeyson, not Odinson. And you are the Princess of Jotunheim.''

She try to empty all those thoughts from her mind, she tries to get them away, to block his voice and never hear it again. But it's impossible. Her hands starts to shake, her shoulders rag as she looks her father's eyes ''You are lying''

He snarled at her face making her flinch violently ''I am many things daughter dearest, but I would never lie to my only family. My only heir.''

''We cannot be of Jotunheim, we cannot- we are from...we-'' her head starts to spin, getting dizzier and dizzier by the second he talks.

Loki noticed this and wrap an arm around her waist to keep her steady ''Touch it'' he gesture to the Casket as he turn them both around ''Feel its power. Let it saw you your true potential.''

He gently grasp her wrists and guide them to the Casket. A whimper left her lips as her shaky fingers touched the cold metal of the forbidden relic.

A shaky, frighten gasp escaped her lips as her tips of her finger became a dark blue color and slowly travel through her entire body. She turns her head to see her reflection on the wall mirror  left to her and sobs overtook her entire been. Sobs and cries of angst, apprehension and fear. Her eyes red like blood, her skin dark blue like the sky when it's raining with markings on it and hair white like the snow. She was a whole different person. She was a monster.

She try to get her hands away from the Casket but Loki hold her still ''This is who you are daughter. Accept it.'' he said, but in truth he speaks more to himself than his own daughter. If he cannot accept what and who he is, how can he tells the same to his daughter.

She shakes her head as tears flown down her eyes, traveling through her cheeks and jaw ''No, no, no. I don't want it. I can't- this isn't real!'' her sobs shook the dark Vault as she watch her once pale skin turn a monstrous dark blue color with markings on it.

''This is your true self. This is your true heritage. This is my daughter. This is my little girl.'' Loki said almost proudly.

Proud that he is not the only monster in the family. Proud that he can have both thrones because of her. She is his only alive heir, gender is not important to him as he only needs his blood to run through her veins, so he can rule.

He watches as her eyes watered, tears run down her emerald eyes and the first sob escape her lips as she stare with widen fearful eyes her image in the mirror. A small smirk form to his lips. She hates it now, but when she will discover her true, real power she will love it, she will cherish it and chaos will she bring to their enemies. Those thoughts were running over his head.

She shakes her head, her tears never stop running from her eyes. She was ready to collapse when a voice speak from the entrance of the Vault ''Loki! That's enough!''

They turn around and saw Frigga walking down the stairs and running to her granddaughter. Gently she takes her wiping form to her embrace and carefully to not touch her expose skin and burn herself, giving Loki a scolding look ''That is enough.''

He shook his head ''Is it? She deserved to know the truth.''

The Queen shooks her head as she softly stroke her grandchild's blonde soft hair ''Not like this. Not this painfully and violently.''

''You should not tell me what to do with my own child mother. Or I should not be calling you like that?''

''You didn't raise her in the first place''

''You-''

Ivanna was now in front of them both ''Please stop. Stop!'' she looks back and forth to Loki and Frigga, eyes glittering with tears that had drawn her face, hands shaky and soft whimpers escapes from her lips as she slowly transform back to her Aesir form ''Please do not fight. I just... we are not Asgardians, we were never fit on Asgard. That is why Allfather never made father King. That is... that is why I am always locked up In the palace''

Frigga shakes her head and looks with a pleading look her son for help but he only repeat her actions ''You were always fit in Asgard. You were not allowed to go outside for you protection-''

''Theirs or hers?'' snap Loki as he went and stand beside his daughter ''Answer that question mother. Whose protection.'' He demands making the blue eyes of the Queen watered.

She approaches her son and softly she caress his cheeks making the God of Lies melt to her touch ''You are and always will be my son, no matter who or what you think you are. You are my son. My son that we would drink tea every morning, my son that I would braid his hair every night when he was just a little mischievous boy. The son that became a man and made his own family, with a daughter who's beauty could break mountains and strain oceans, a daughter that is stronger that Ymir himself.''

Loki's eyes watered as he heard his mother speak and threw himself in her embrace ''I am so sorry mother. I never wanted to yell at you''

Frigga chuckles ''No need to worry my boy'' she stroke his raven hair softly ''But I believe there is someone else who you own an apology''

Loki eyes widened before he turns around and walk towards his daughter. Gently he lift his hand to his chin and raise her head to look at him ''I am sorry for not be the perfect father. I promise to you that from now on I will be right besides you. As a King and as a father. I apologize from my depth of my heart for loosing what a parent must never loose.''

She shakes her head and wraps her arms around his neck hugging her father with love and care. Loki does the same thing, holding his daughter close to him and holding her close to him.

''I forgive you.''

The lie escape her lips without him noticing.
