Devin Pov.

The guild hall seemed empty today. That was until a giant swirling vortex appeared in the middle of the room.... Why could we not have just have one day where portals don't pop up on our island! I was brought back to my senses when there was a huge flash of light that temporarily blinded me. Right as I could see again I saw the entirety of Divinus Magia, but they all looked younger. I heard loud steps thud above me, then Brandon peaked around the corner. Obviously confused and sad. I wondered why he looked so be upset until I look to where Brandon had his eyes glued. I saw Ritchie... my deceased lover and Brandon's older twin brother. I heard a shout from the past Ritchie "EDEN!" Of course.
Right as Ritchie shot a lightning bolt at me Brandon grabbed my cloak and pulled my towards him causing the lightning bolt to hit the edge of my cape. Brandon pulled me behind him to avoid another bolt being fired at me. Past Divinus Magia was obviously surprised that Brandon protected me. Past Brandon asked "Who might you be?" While pointing to the present time Brandon. Brandon having already realized that this was Divinus from the past answered "I believe you should know who I am, although I am from a different time." Running low on patients Ritchie demands him to stop with the riddles. Brandon responds "Fine, I'll do introductions. The one behind me is Devin and my name is Brandon." The entire guild's eyes open wide in surprise and disbelief. Lucas as expected replied in a "Huh!?" Like always. I could tell they didn't believe him so I stuttered out a "it's true..". Immediately after I spoke Ritchie glared daggers at me. Honestly it mad me made extremely upset and I could tell Brandon noticed as he glanced back with a small but comforting smile almost immediately having to turn back to the past guild to make sure no attacks were fired at me. He began to explain "You all are in the future I imagine that the guild leader of the Protectors was messing around with his time magic and brought you all to the future." Future Divinus seemed to calm at this but stayed on guard. Ritchie began to speak "I will ask you three questions that only Brandon and I would know the answer to." Brandon nodded in agreement to the request. Ritchie asked his first question. "Who is the older twin?" This seemed like an easy question but, it wouldn't be for most people. Brandon responded correctly by saying "Ritchie." Ritchie asked his second question "What is the name of the world we are from?" Brandon again responded correctly this time answering "Salode" Ritchie asked his third and final question " what is our father's name?"  Brandon didn't consider Soren his father but he responded correctly again, responding "Soren." After Ritchie had all of his questions answered correct he relaxed and asked "Could you take us to the current meeting room?" Brandon gave a short "Sure." Before leading them to the main hall. Brandon asked them to all take a seat so he could explain some things when suddenly a mysterious women appeared from a heart shaped pink and red portal.

She introduced herself as Crystal a time mage. She explained that she was the one who brought them there and that she wanted me and Brandon to answer any questions that the past group may have. She added that all memories of them meeting us will be removed when she opens a portal to take them back to there island. Then just as quick as she appeared she disappeared. Some members such as kit and Lucas being newer to the guild were confused but those of us who were older members just gave up on being surprised by anything anymore. Brandon spoke "So does anyone have any questions I suppose?" "Ritchie raised his hand "Where is the rest of the future guild?" Brandon answered "Well... most of the guild is not in a great mental state right now.". "Why?" Ritchie inquired. Brandon continued "The guild just got back from a funeral." He ended sadly. I saw that he looked sad so I walked over to him and hugged his side. He responded by putting his arm around my back (❗️NOT A SHIP❗️) and hugging me back with one of his arms. The guild seemed to have forgotten I was even there as the next question Past Brandon asked was "Why is HE here?" Brandon laughed and pulled my hand up for them to see, showing off my guild mark. Past Brandon seemed to be okay with the answer although seemingly slightly displeased with someone who attacked the guild being IN the guild "So which member passed way?" Ritchie asked softly. I tried to stutter a response only to fail as tears pricked at the corners of my eyes. Brandon pulled me closer to him. He stuttered out an answer "My brother.." The entire guild was shocked and mournful at this. David spoke up "Quick question boss, why are you letting him touch you? You'd punch anyone else who tried that." He ended
, obviously trying to change the conversation. Brandon answered "Well he would have been my brother-in-law if things continued the way they were." Again, everyone was surprised as I blushed at the thought of it and pulled my cape to cover my face. Brandon laughed quietly at me being a flustered mess. When I finally regained my composure I turned to face the guild only to see the small remnants of blush on past Ritchie's face. Did Brandon really see me as his brother-in-law? I mean I know that i'm his emotional support currently but, does he really see me as family? Brandon then spoke again "Anyways does anyone have any more questions?"

I've gotten boosts of motivation at 3 am for this whole week so I've been writing all the chapters I've had in the works!
This is just part one part two will have the rest of present Divinus meets the past Divinus!
