Sitting comfortably, letting my hair loose and the air conditioner dealing with the hotness, I watch a beautifully green field yet shiny like the stars and deeper than the ocean. As time stopped I could lightly hear Harry Styles giving his most beautiful "Adore You".
I now have something to make clear, I do NOT like him or anything. This is simply not a situation I'm used to dealing with, that's all. He surely said what he said as a random joke nothing more, nothing less. He does not want to kiss me for real like he might say right now, half into my car.
I could feel his breath on my face. He has pinkish lips and a minty kind of breath.

"Big Sis?"

I turned around as well as Blake Miller and faced Charlotte Williams that was watching us with a purely confused look. Did she just call me...

"Oh sorry, sis I didn't know that you were with your boyfriend, I'll let you two-" I widen my eyes and quickly cut her by shaking my head a bit.
"No, he's not my boyfriend but just a classmate."
"Oh okay then. I'm still sorry." I turned around to Blake Miller and faced him again before talking. "I'm sorry I have to go."
"Aren't you waiting for your friend from her meeting?"
"Well, she is here as you can see." I saw a bit of a frown on his face. "She is like my sister if that's what you are wondering about."
"I see. Hello there I'm Blake Miller, I'm your big sister's Friend." He carefully forced on "friend" while amusingly glancing at me as I was just rolling my eyes.
"Oh, I'm Charlotte Williams, Harper Knight's friend."
"Well then I was glad to meet you, I will now maybe let you go. It was lovely to see you, Harper Knight."And with a discrete wink, Blake Miller went back from where he came. I turned to Charlotte Williams and saw her looking at me a bit shocked yet amused too. She got inside and turned slightly to me.
"Well well well, who was that?" She asked as she turned completely to me. I sighed and answered.
"As I said before, he's a classmate." I can see her starting to smile. Oh, Lord...
"Well, you both looked madly close right there." She didn't even try and bother to hide her amusement and even hit me softly with her elbow giggling a bit.
"He was just leaning inside because I was too small, that's it." I couldn't help but smile and roll my eyes again. "But anyways, how was your meeting? What's your class?"
"Yeah sure... Oh, I'm in A55. Do you perhaps know someone from there?" She asked still looking at the document the director must have given her.
"Well yes I do know a few people, that's my class too," I said smiling at her and looking over her shoulder to read the document.
"Wait really?! Yayyy!" I backed away and she started to throw fists in the air from joy and laughed at herself as I chuckled too before turning the car back on.
"Okay! Now let's get the credit card on fire!" I said loudly as I was driving out of the parking lot.
And with that, we both took the road to the city and visited a few supplies stores before buying some clothes together. I, most of the time, helped Charlotte to choose dresses and while she was trying some on I would check on some jeans and shirts and buy them only if it was worth it. I'm not the kind of person who buys stuff as often as others. I think overconsumption must be avoided as much as we could even if it becomes a part of our society's daily basis.
Sitting in a coffee shop waiting for Charlotte to come back from the restroom, I watch people laughing together, working, and just enjoying a moment of peace, out of the potential issues they could be walking through.
Everyone has their dark shades. It's a fact that anyone could know. No, it's a fact that everyone knows but we tend to ignore it and some more than others. As I was spacing out, I saw the restroom door opening up to Charlotte walking up to me with a bright smile.
"Hey Big Sis, sorry did I took long?" She asked as she sat in front of me.
"No, it's fine don't worry," I said responding to her smile. "By the way, why do you keep calling me that?"
"You mean Big Sis? Well, I don't know, I saw you with the other kids at dinner yesterday and you looked like a big sister to everyone there and some kids would also call you that, so I thought that I could..." She stopped and looked down a bit embarrassed. I sighed and brushed my hair with my hand.
"What did I tell you about trust and stuff?"
"I know, I know, but it just felt right. If you don't like it though I can stop!" I stared at her for a while and she looked tensed but her eyes looked kind of pleading. We can read her like an opened book, amused, I chuckled and tousled her hair gently.
"Don't worry it's fine to me but really, be careful about who you trust."
A few hours later we decided to finally go back home since it was getting dark now. Walking to the parking, I felt a strong presence behind us. It's like a weird attraction to someone on the crowded road by the bus stop. I turn around and try to search for something and nothing at the same time. I felt like I needed to look for it even though I didn't quite know what that could be.        Still, in the parking lot beside my car, I scan everyone passing by quickly and, as if he was shining through the crowd, I saw him, again. He was walking straight to the back of a bus and sat down while putting on his headphones and lowering his head down on his phone.
Then, like a common attraction, he lifted his head suddenly yet kind of calmly. He scanned through the bus, the stop, the road, and lastly, the parking lot. Our eyes met and finally, we got to see each other. He was the guy I met at the bus stop and again at the other bus with the crappy men he was putting back at his place, I'm certain it's him, I can oddly feel it. I could only barely see his face but it was enough. Our eyes got cut by the bus driving away. I was standing still as the bus was already out of sight but then I felt a little weight on my left arm. Turning to Charlotte, I could see a confused looked as she was grabbing my arm lightly. I stared at her for a few seconds before shaking my head and smiling at her.

"I thought I saw someone I knew but no. Come one, let's go home."
