Scene 4 Act 3
Struggle.
Katherinna was also shocked to heard the information about their power. A sudden question in her mind appeared. How many creatures wants this terrifying curse?.
"so. What should we do now?" michaela ask her sister Criztina, and criztina looked at her mother.
All eyes are on her. Prietta smirked.
"we are going to persecute them and force the spirit activates." she exclaims with a wide devilish grin.
"that's a great idea! We'll start at their eldest." michaela said and put her face beside cornelia, "you have a very flawless skin, i hope you don't mind me putting scars onto it." she smiled.
Cornelia remain silent, her emotionless face no signs of caring, doubt that she hears every word, sees every moment. Katherinna stared at her, she was almost teary eyed but she must not cry, she have to think a way to save her, to save them.
"sister. I will get us out." she whisper so faintly, but there's stern and hope to her tone.
She remembered her another sister upstairs. Kimberly. She was the only one who can help both of them. She was struck when she remembered that she was fast asleep for atleast 3 days. Even the strongest earthquake can never wake her up.
Before she can think of a plan, criztina
pulled her to her chair and michaela did as well.
"don't forget the vampire." prietta reminded them, "we must know who send that creature." and she headed outside.
Katherinna lightened up. A vampire is within the premises. Her eyes longed for the vampire. It is a chance, that creature can save them.
Criztina gave katherinna to her younger sister michaela. And she reach for the man facing her. The man was pale and unconcious. "criztina, that man was weaker than we thought." michaela concluded, a grin was placed in her face. "Yeah right. Well he's wounded when we found him."
Katherinna who listened to their every word. The man is weak and unconcious, and most of all he's a vampire. They can get out if only she could talk to him.
They headed to the cellar, which designed like a prison, it completely different from the other parts of the house. It was all the deathly things, weapons. And in the middle of the room, there is a bed of stone with leather straps on the sides. Specifically made for torture.
Criztina and michaela throw Cornelia, katherinna and the vampire to the side, they came to their mother, who was getting ready for persecution.
"mother, what about their other sister, delusia's heir?" criztina ask, worry filled her eyes.
"the other witch was asleep, they used the slumber herb to calm her down, sorry criztina but you need to wait for at least two days." prietta saud and touch the cheeks of her eldest daughter," but for the meantime," prietta gazed across the two sisters. "we have to get ilusia and rotch from their bodies."
"cornelia, my dear, can you come here?" prietta said so sweetly. Without second thought, cornelia came to her and lay herself down the stone bed. Michaela then strapped her wrist tight.
Katherinna knows that she have to act fast, cornelia is spelled and anytime soon, she will get hurt. Is there anything in the world to break her paralysis?
She wandered her eyes, beside her a herb, a bitter herb she found.
A taste of bitterness can offset any behaviour and paralysis spell, but it was either it will get worse or heal, partially. She tried so hard to reach for the herb. When she's only inches away, criztina saw her and kicked her armed. "you witch!! You can never get out of here, so better behave and wait for you turn." criztina said, put another spell on her, katherinna's gravity spell got worse. Criztina then returned to her mother.
Little she did know, katherinna got a leaf between her fingers. Even in great pain, she strive to swallow the bitter herb. Her tounge was also paralyze but the taste of that leaf was so strong,and then she manage to moved. She knows that the effects will only linger for about a minute. She shake the vampire beside her.
"vampire.. Vampire.. Wake up." she whispered continuing the shaking movement. The vampire open her eyes.
Prietta make Cornelia drank an odorous liquid. Seconds later, cornelia seizure, and white foam escaped from her mouth.
"talk to me, vampire." katherinna commanded softly and make him eat the bitter herb to fully awaken him. The vampire regain consciousness. Katherinna grabbed his shoulders, "think of the saddest moments of your immortality?" katherinna look at his light blue eyes. "hurry!" she exclaimed. The vampire, not knowing how to what to do, immediately close his eyes and concentrate.
The commotion get the attention of criztina, she saw katherinna shaking the vampire. She came closer to her and grabbed her by her hair. She threw katherinna to the wall, and kicked her. The slightly paralyze katherinna can't do anything but to acccept the blow. She's hoping that the grievance of the vampire is enough.
Cornelia stopped in seizure. And she was left faint. Seconds later, her eyes come to life and it glows, a gloomy glow, prietta is now uttering spell. Michaela helped Criztina in nailing katherinna hard.
"you are dead!" michaela kicked katherinna hard, that hit was enough to for her to cough blood. The vampire opened her eyes once he smell the blood. When she's about to go to the source, criztina shoved him to the other wall.
"stay where you are worthless vampire!" criztina shouted at him. And then she return to beat katherinna.
But all of the sudden, the vampire screamed. A heart-shocking scream. It made the attention of everyone in the cellar turned to him.
Katherinna glanced at him at stare as the vampire struggle on the ground.
"She's awake." she murmured.
