He opened his eyes slowly, his sight still blurry with fatigue of his sleep. He could hear talking from all around him, but they were muffled by a loud ringing sound that was slowly getting quieter.

"Mu-Shidi... Will Qingqiu's changes be perma-"

"Where..."

Finally, realized he wasn't in his house. He could sense because of the smell, it was different from his house's, it's more sweet, like medicine-

'Wait... Smell?'

"Oh, you're awake. Xiao Jiu, do you feel any pain?"

He sat up slowly, his body aching slightly from his sleep, he had the need to stretch yet suppressed it. The white selling and smell of medicine immediately gave off where he currently was, in Qian Cao peak. He hated being here.

Seeing his awakeness, Yue Qingyuan allowed himself to calm down a bit. Suddenly, the other man began trying to stand up from the bed. He immediately stepped forward to help him up, but was greeted with his hand being slapped away.

"Don't call me that. I'm fine, I want to go back to my house, don't stop me."

He let out a hiss directly at Yue Qingyuan.

Suddenly, whatever anyone had to say against Shen Qingqiu's rude behavior towards the clan leader died. Instead, everyone grew quiet.

They weren't the only ones surprised, Shen Qingqiu was cut off guard by his reaction too...

He immediately touched his head with one of his hands. When he woke up it ft slightly different there, like something new has been added.

Seeing Shen Qingqiu sitting on the bed, his ears turned downwards like a confused cat, eyes gazing at the floor emptily and tail unmoving beside him on the bed was quite the sight.

It was slightly... Adorable? Not that Liu Qingge would ever, ever in a lifetime admit it. He had the sudden urge to touch his tail. His tail looked soft and white, completely clean even though they hadn't bathed him since they arrived at the peak.

"Ehm, since Qingqiu-shixiong is unwilling to speak to us, I'll ask you. Do you know what was the cause of the curse?"

Hmm, it wasn't too hard to figure out it probably had something to do with the monster. But since he hadn't read the report Zhangmen-shixiong gave them, he doesn't know what the monster's name is nor it's qualities or purpose. Such unnecessary details were Qingqiu's job to remember.

"It's all in Zhangmen-shixiong's report, just ask him for it. I don't know anything, I simply go to wherever it tells me to and kill whatever monster is needed to kill."
