Maddie POV
I bang the door for the fifth time in 10 minutes. I sware this girl sleeps like she's dead. I bang the door one more time. If she doesn't open this door imma break it open. A few seconds later the door is opening and a very tired Lu behind it. I didn't know whether to laugh at how messy her hair is or to be in awe at how cute she looks when she's tired. She moves to the side or more like almost falls to the side. It was enough space for me to be able to get by her and make sure she doesn't hurt herself.
"What time did you sleep last night?" I say with a worried look. I could see the dark circles under her eyes were more visible than usual. It makes her look as if she hasn't slept for days. She looked so fragile like a glass doll.
"I didn't. I wanted to try and find everything I could about how to cosplay and what I need for mine." She said with a very weak voice.
"Honey, I told you I was gonna help you with all that. You didn't need to stay up all night trying to figure it out." I look at her and sigh knowing that this conversation isn't gonna go anywhere. I take her hand and walk her to her room.
"Lay down and go to sleep. I'll look up the things you'll need for your cosplay." I cover her with the blanket making sure she's warm. I sit beside her and start to play with her hair. She loves when I play with her hair and it puts her to sleep fast. After a few minutes of me playing with her hair I look down to see that she's peacefully asleep. I slowly get up and walk towards the door and close it lightly behind me. I go to the living room and start my research. An hour goes by and I see a light come from her phone. I guess she forgot to turn her phone off. I went to pick it up but her screen turned on. I looked at the notification and someone called AP texted her. I was very confused because she never told me about someone named AP. I continued to look at the message.
AP- Good morning Love. Hope you slept well. Good luck with the cosplay. If you need help I'm always here for you.
I stood there very confused and a little hurt. Why hasn't she told me about this person? Are they her special person? Does she not trust me? I put the phone down back where it was and sat down on the couch. I hear little footsteps so I start to act like everything is ok.
Lu POV
I slowly wake up still feeling like I'm dead. Sitting up, I looked at the time and was shocked. Shit I over slept. Maddie was supposed to come over today. I get up, go to the bathroom and do my normal routine. When I finished I got dressed and looked to see if Maddie texted me at all but there was none. I sigh in relief and make my way downstairs to get some food. When I get downstairs I hear a typing nose in the living room. I turn the corner and see Maddie looking at her computer. Confusión runs through my mind wondering how she got in my apartment.
"When did you get here and how did you get in?" I asked her, very confused. She looked at me and slightly laughed. The laugh seemed a little off; it wasn't her normal laugh.
"I've been here silly. I'm the one who put you to sleep." You look at her shocked and then join her in laughing.
"I must've been dead tired to not remember." We both calm down and I look at what she was trying on the computer.
"Oooo that is amazing." I say looking at all the research she did. We spent the next few hours doing more research and planning for Momo. We take a break from working to get some food and just relax. I finally looked at my phone and saw AP had texted me a long time ago.
Lu- Hey Love I am soo sorry I didn't see your text until now. I hope your day has been well and that you're doing ok.
I look up from my phone and see all the food Maddie made.
"Wow, you're really good at making food. It looks amazing and now I'm hungrier than before." She sits on the couch with me and we start to dig right into the food.
TIME SKIP
We finished everything and Maddie went home. I get a notification on my phone and instantly look at it.
AP- Hi My Love my day was ok would've been better with you in it but Ik you were busy.
I smiled at how sweet and cute he is.
Lu- Well I'm not busy not and really do miss you.
AP- So I have all your attention, nothing else just me.
Lu- Ofc My Love you
AP- Good cause you have all of mine
