19: Delivery time

It was almost Tine's delivery period. His husband rushed back home from his office, when he heard his wife panting badly in the call. He entered the house, and saw his wife on the couch having a hard time. The contractions were very hard. He picked his wife up and slowly walked to his car. Nick was worried he hurriedly drove them to hospital. "NURSE! DOCTOR PLEASE HELP!!" shouted Sarawat. The doctor ordered the nurse to come with stretcher. 

Tine was wheeled to the ICU. His husband was sitting and tapping his foot on the white marbel floor. After half an hour one doctor came out, Sarawat went to him "How's my wife doctor?". "Don't worry sir, he's alright now just mild contractions are going on today he'll stay over here tomorrow will be his delivery time". Sarawat relaxed and nodded. Doctor patted his shoulder and excused himself. 

A nurse came out of the room. She came back within 15 minutes with a jar of water, Sarawat asked her "C-Can I see him?". "Yes sure but don't be tensed or give tension to him, his heart beat is already beating fast" said the nurse. Sarawat nodded and went in. Tine was lying on the bed, the nurse gave him some water. The nurse came to Sarawat and said "Normally the labor stage will occur at night, that's why we need to help him with some walking or mild exercise...so will you help him or we can appoint a nurse for him?". Sarawat looked at Tine, Tine sniffed and nodded. "I will help him, just guide me how to do it". 

Tine was slowly walking, his one hand supporting the bump another was clasped with his husband. The back pain started so his husband rubbed his back and hugged him sideways. Tine clutched his hubby's shirt. After 20 minutes of walking, Tine needs rest. His husband gently placed him on the couch and sat down on the floor, he kept his wife's feet on his knee massaging it while humming a song for him. 

Next moment, he was placed in a tub, he was hissing and sniffing. "Breathe out from your mouth" said the nurse. Tine did, his husband was just holding his hand and rubbing his wife's back. Tine started to feel contractions, he gripped the tub's edge, started gagging he was feeling nauseous. Nurse gave him a med to inhale, he will feel better. 

"Breathe in.....breathe out baby" said Sarawat. "Omy god....ahhh" Tine started sniffing and breathing heavily. Sarawat was whispering sweet words motivating him. He was too suffering by seeing his wife's condition. But he's a father, he needs to be strong. 

It was night time, Tine one time was in the room the next time in the tub due to his wild contraction. At midnight, Tine was alright his contraction lessened a bit, his husband was making him smile by saying how he planned about their little family. His son/ daughter will call his wife mom or papa and him as dada or daddy. How he will see the little cutie yawning and blabbing little words on his/her own. How beautiful his wife will look when he will come back home and see his wife breastfeeding the baby. Then they'll grow up and go to school, they will play together, they'll have a pet. Tine was smiling and tearing up listening to his hubby's dream. 

The wife was feeling blessed to have Sarawat in his life. He never thought that his entire life will turn into a beautiful fantasy which isn't imagination anymore it's the reality. Tine Sarawat and their baby. 

Morning time, Tine shook his husband's hand, his hubby woke up to see his wife having hard time again. He immediately pressed the emergency button. The nurses rushed in, they connected the wires, doctor checked his vitals. The dilation became 8 cm, and it was the time for the baby to almost ready come out. The nurse did their job in turning him, giving him massage, making him relax. They lifted Tine's hospital gown and his legs they tied them to the stand beside the bed. 

By that time, his water broke, he shouted, Sarawat immediately wore the green dress and went to his wife's side. The doctors checked his vitals, 10 cm dilation. It was ready to come out. Sarawat was pressing his back to cool him down. "ahhhh I feel pushing uuu" cried Tine. "It's ok..it's fine let your body lead the way" said the midwife. "it's soooo painful" cried Tine. "Uh uh it's intense.....painful is not the word dear...you're child is waiting to see his handsome and beautiful mom and dad" said the midwife. "I want to pushhh ahhhh" said Tine in a hoarse voice. "Good it's ok calm down" said the midwife. 

"Ok push it push it hard and let the baby out come on" ordered the midwife. "ahhhhhhhh......" Tine pushed. Sarawat was a mess, still soothing his wife's back. "Good baby....good yes you can do it" said Sarawat. "Beautiful, the head is nice....push" said the midwife. "o my great that's the head, that's the baby good good go on" said the midwife. Sarawat cheered him up "go baby...my angel". Tine pushed hard again his tears rolled down his eyes. "ok ok stop...breathe" said the midwife. 

Tine started crying "Sarawat~~""Yes baby I'm here love I'm here please calm down" cried Sarawat. "Good push push" said the midwife. "Good job Tine" said Sarawat. Final push and the baby was out. Tine dropped his head onto the pillow, Sarawat kissed his forehead and started crying too. The doctors were smiling at the cute family. "Now mom take your little bean and congratulations it's a boy" cheered the doctor.

"O my god he's so cute" said Tine after getting the baby in his arms. Sarawat nodded happily.
