Riley (POV)
The next day, James and I leave school early because The Next Step is holding auditions for anyone to take Emily's place in A Troupe. It's only a week since the accident and she still won't talk to me. She's not at school yet, and she won't be dancing for a long LONG time. Speaking of dance, Noah, from J Troupe is auditioning right now. He's amazing. It's surprising how good he is for a J Trouper! It's flawless! And I thought I was amazed when he went but Richelle! She's a maniac! There are people here I've heard of or never even seen before auditioning. Miss Kate must want the BEST dancer to replace Emily. But I think I already know who it is. I think Miss Kate and Michelle have the same idea. ;)
James (POV)
We have a new A Troupe member! Noah was amazing. So was everyone else, but Noah earned it. I'm walking out, when I spot him.
"Hey Noah, what's up bro?" I start.
"Good," he replies, "I'm really stoked to be on A Troupe now. I so thought that Beth was goi-"
I cut him off.
"Uh no Beth was never going to make it. Could you imagine that? Beth? No." I spit the words out like I'm dropping money on a table to buy gum.
"Ya you're right man." he agrees.
"Okay see you late man" I finish.
"See you!" he calls after me.
