Riley (POV)
It's time.
We walk out onstage facing the audience. We position, and when the music starts, my heart stops. I look over my shrugging shoulders as Stutter by Marianas Trench is playing.
We finish by our ending pose and wait for our percentage/mark.
"And The Next Step scores..." the announcer starts,
"89 points!" he finishes.
We're celebrating like crazy!
James scoops me up in BIG bear hug and we are all congratulating each other! 89 points! That's the highest The Next Step has scored in forever! Next thing we know, we're going to be at Nationals.

James (POV)
Oh no.
Riley's hairpiece fell out.
I know what she's going to do. She's going to blame it all on herself. But there is no need to worry at all! We have a chance at the Wild Card spot! I think after this performance, I'm gonna have to tell everyone. We scored 84 points. We're NOT going home. We may have scored lower than the other studio but we have the Wild Card.
"Riley, it wasn't your fault" Michelle says.
"We just lost because of me, we just lost!" Riley wails.
"It's okay, thinks like this happen" Giselle points out.
All of a sudden, a familiar voice appears.
"Why so glum everyone?" Emily says sourly.
"What do you want Emily?" I say.
"I want to say something to everyone, especially Riley" she says.
I'm shocked. What could she want?
"Look, everyone, I'm so so sorry about what I've done to everyone this year, and this accident put me in a bad mood. Look, it was all my fault. I was jealous that Riley was spending so much time with James than her own sister, and I'm sorry. Truly, really sorry" she finishes
What?
I mean, what?
"Emily, I'm so sorry-" Riley starts but Emily cuts her off.
"You don't have to be. It's all me" Emily says.
"Why is everyone so upset?" I say.
"James!" everyone says.
"Because the last time I checked, we have a chance at the Wild Card spot"
