I sat next to saiki today. I don't know why I just got the sudden urge to. When I sat down though, he looked confused. Has he never noticed me? That's probably it. *Sigh* It's probably for the better anyways.
*saiki's pov*
What the hell? Did we get a new kid? Hopefully this one won't be such a drag like all the last ones. Wait- usually they would've talked to me by now but... they haven't. What's the deal with that? Whatever. It just means one less annoyance. But I must admit, I am a little curious. "Hey," I said before i could even think. "are you new here? I've never noticed you before."
*y/n pov*
What? He actually thinks I'm new here? "Uhh, no actually. I've been here forever. We've been in the same class every year. Have you seriously never noticed me?" The question was followed by laughter. He genuinely never noticed me. Probably because I'm the only one in this class that's never spoken to him. Meh oh well.
*saiki pov*
Oh shit- I wonder if anyone else has noticed them. I start to wonder off in thought as a see annoyance number 2 walk in. In other words Kaido. (AN: I think it's Kaido, pretty sure.) he walks up and looks at the new- not-so new kid and says "hey y/n!" They look at him with a... weird, face.
*y/n pov*
I see Kaido walking up to me. "Hey y/n!" He says. How does he know my name? Have we ever spoken. Oh wait never mind. I forgot that we had a group project together in our 1st year of high school. How does he still remember my name? I only remember his because of his whole *jet black wings* charade. It's kind of cute honestly. But he can overdo it sometimes. Like that time when the zoo lost a poisonous snake. I chuckled a bit at the memory. "Y/n!" I hear calling my name. But who? I look up and it's saiki. "How do you know my name?" I question. "Kaido just said it." He says with a stone cold face. "I have a question. If you were here the entire time, how come you never talked to me? You're probably the only nuis- person in the class who hasn't." "Well, if you want me to be honest, you just seem like you don't want to be bothered with so I just simply didn't bother you." I say. No surprise to say he wasn't surprised. "Why would you do that though? Trying to get on my good side?" He said with a little bit of a hesitant chuckle. "Yes actually, I prefer to be on peoples good sides rather than the bad. It just makes school easier to get through like that." I'm not ashamed to say that I saw a few surprised faces. I see nendo walk up. Oh no, saiki doesn't really like nendo. I can tell by his stone coke face every time they're around eachother. "Hey buddy!" Nendo says. He looks at me and pauses. "Aww buddy, you didn't tell me you got yourself a girlfriend now. I thought we were best buds!" He says. Me and saiki both nearly fall out of our chairs. "We're not- I don't- we just met!" We both said towards nindo. "Oh sorry buddy, I just saw you laugh a bit so I just assumed." Nendo said. Not gonna lie, this is an interesting group.
*saiki's pov*
I figured out why I don't know them. It's because for once, someone in this class isn't a nuisance. But I can't help but wonder, why are they over here? "Hey y/n?" I ask. "Yeah?" They say back. "Why haven't you ever tried to talk to me?" "Oh simple. It's because I have standards for most people. Mine for you are just extra high. They standard is that I won't talk to anyone unless they talk to me first, o get put into a group with them, or they walk up to me. But with you it's just the talk to me first or walk up to me bit." "Oh ok that makes a lot of since"
No it doesn't.
"Well I also have one more question, why are you over here exactly?" Shit- that came out meaner than I expected. Of they think I'm mean their likability for me will go down. Than everyone's will go down. Than I'll have a... reputation. Ew.
"Oh, um- it's because I wanted to come over and ask you something myself." They said. I checked my likability for them and HOLY SHIT! It's 76?! How is it so high when we've never even met?! "What is it?" I ask. Shit- that came out flirty. Or.. jokingly? I don't know. Let's check again. 80?! I need to get a lower likability from them! "Oh so basically-" "haha yeah that's so funny!" Shit- why am I so worried about my likability right now? "Basically... I wanted to ask if we could be friends. It's not like you're friends with them though. With us it'll be strictly to come over to me and than we'll talk. Other than that I'll leave you be." Not gonna lie that sounds like a friendship I'd enjoy. "Sure" I said. I sounded impressed for some reason. I don't know but I give up with this likability shit. I'm just gonna go for it.
