"Actually.."
"Wait what?"
"No. It's not either of you."
"Damn </3"
*saturday because I'm lazy*
As I wake up I see a few faces near mine. Mom, dad, and- is that y/n? What are they doing here?
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" Y/n yells. My parents look at them in confusion.
"It's a western thing." They say to them.
"We celebrate differently than here." They add on.
"Ohh ok." Mom says.
Oh I can't wait for Ku to go downstairs mom thinks.
Wait what?
"Can you all get out so I can get dressed?" I ask, waiting for them to get out.
They all leave.
I quickly put on my clothes and go downstairs. What do they want?
As I get down I see a table full of presents and sweets.
My eyes widen in joy.
(○＾▽＾○)
I look at my parents and y/n and suddenly notice y/n has a lot of powder on them.
"Y/n, did you make all of this?"
"Most of it, yeah. The presents are naught though, sorry." They say.
They're perfect.
Mom looks at me with a determined look on her face. Star eyes and everything. She was smiling though so I really don't care. As long as she's happy.
Wait- what time is it? Oh right, Saturday. That's fun.
"You know I can't eat this right now.. right?"
"We know. But Saiki.. It's a strawberry cake." Y/n says.. knowing how much I like strawberry cakes.
"...fine." I say, walking over to the table.
They all seemed to celebrate in their head.
Shit. My ring.
I panicking wondering where I put it or if I even put it on this morning.
Y/n seems to notice I'm worried and starts thinking.
"What's wrong Sai?" They ask.
"My ring.. I can't find it." I reply. The nod their head and go upstairs.
"Y/n honey, where are you going?" Mom asks.
"Oh, I need to use the bathroom."
"Oh well, there's one on this floor." Dad says.
"I know." They ran upstairs.
Gotta find it, gotta find it. Oh god, here comes the thinking.
"Saiki when did you see it last?"
"I took it off last night before I went to bed but I don't remember where I put it."
"Found it." They come back down stairs.
Mom and dad were still watching me at the table. They're an odd bunch really. Y/n walks over to me quickly and slips my ring on.
"You know I could have done that myself, right?" I ask.
"I know." They say while giggling.
What do they mean by that-
"Anyways, presents!" They say. Mom and dad looking at each other in fulfillment.
I look to where they pointed out the presents to be. It's a table with a bunch of boxes on it.
"Oh, your friends dropped by but I got rid of them." Y/n says to me.
I love you.
I mouth the words "thank you" towards them and they respond with a kind smile.
I open the first gift. It was from Mom and Dad.
They got me a jacket. It really sticks out though.
The next gift was from Nendo. He got me a gift card to a ramen shop.
The next gift was from Kaido and this one came with a card. "So you can conceal your powers better." It says. I open it and it's an arm bandage like he has. This kid. He got mine in the color black so that's cool but still.
The next was from Teruhashi. I open it and it's just a framed picture of her. Wow.
The next from Aren.
... this is a nailed baseball bat.
The next present being from Haido. It's a tennis racket.
A few more presents from a few more people. I finally got to y/n's present. I really want to know what they got me. I look at it and it seems to be a video game.
"It's not released yet so I got it for you so you didn't have to hear any spoilers" they said.
It's not released yet?
"How did you get it if it hasn't been released yet?" I ask.
"My dad works with video games. They're already done with this one and it doesn't even come out for another year and nobody even knows it's done. Or was being produced for that fact." They say.
Oh. Wow.

That was it for this chapter. I wanted to do a birthday special and I was planning this for a few months actually. Sorry I haven't updated in a while, major writers block and school just started up again for me. I started writing this while I was still in 8th grade and now I'm starting 9th. That's fun. I started writing it during lunch lmao.
