3RD PERSON POV
(Timeskip to a few weeks before prom because we're lazy, sorry<3)

The four boys each decided it was time for them to start making moves, but they didn't know that their 'rivals' are also planning to make moves on their beloved Y/N. And what they also didn't know is that Y/N liked them back to a whole extent but she was still thinking over 'who is it exactly? who is it that I have fallen for?' Y/N was sitting in Kazuha's room using his laptop, typing an essay she had due the next week. But Kazuha was a quick thinker compared to the other three and invited her to go out first.

"Hey, Y/N. You wanna go have a picnic in the park? Just the two of us? Like the good old days when we were younger." He explained while sitting next to her, the girl thought about it for a while before giving her answer, "Sure! This boring essay can wait!" She exclaimed while jumping up from the bed. Kazuha watched her as she dug through her clothes to find her outfit and run to the bathroom to freshen up.

Y/N and Kazuha were almost ready to go out and buy their food for the picnic, until Venti came out of nowhere, "Hey guys! Where are y'all going? May I join?" he asked while hugging Y/N from behind, "Sorry Venti but it's gonna just be me and Y/N today. You can go get drunk or something" Kazuha said while slowly grabbing Y/N out the door. As Y/N was waving bye to Venti, she didn't notice Kazuha send the other male a smug grin.

"Kazu, have you ever thought that if a bald person worked at a restaurant would they still need a hairnet?" Y/N asked while throwing him a smile, "Y/N, why would you ask me that..do I look bald to you?" The male sarcastically responded while playfully hitting the girl's arm. While they were laughing they ran into someone on their way to the elevators, "Gorou? What are you doing here?" Y/N asked as she stared directly at the ears that just wiggled on his head.

"Her Excel- I mean, Kokomi wanted to see you today!" The dog boy exclaimed with his tail wagging, "First of all, are you a furry? Second, WHERES KOKOMI! I HAVEN'T SEEN HER IN AGES!!" She screamed with sparkles in her eyes, Y/N shook Gorou so much to the point he almost passed out. And Kokomi came out of the elevator, looking like an angel sent from heaven. "God..?" the H/C girl spoke before she ran up to Kokomi and gave her a big hug.

"Y/N! I missed you, and hello Kazuha" Kokomi said while patting Y/N's back and waving to Kazuha, "Ko~ko~mi~ I thought you moved to Watatsumi island to take care of it since it was a family tradition?" Y/N asked while standing up properly to stand next to Kazuha, "Well, yeah but I decided to come to Liyue for school. And I have people watching over the island right now so it's not a big deal" Kokomi explained, Kazuha nudged Y/N to remind her why they went out in the first place.

"Oh yeah! Sorry, Kokomi but not to be rude- let's hang out another time! Kazuha and I have some plans for today, " Y/N said while scratching her neck. "Oh it's alright, Gorou and I have plans too. We just wanted to check up on you, alright then, see you guys soon" And with that, the duo in front of them walked away while the other duo went on with their day.

Kazuha was laying out the blanket for their picnic while Y/N was admiring the view from the hill they were on,  "Kazu, this reminds me of the time we were out with Scara and we pushed him down the hill hehe" She said while kneeling down in front of him, "Of course I do, but have you heard from him? I actually wanna see if we could invite him over together with the gang we had when we were kids." Kazuha sighed as he sat down on the blanket. "Ehe- A-About that- It's actually awkward with me and Scara now-" Y/N stuttered, trying to explain her situation.

"We- We actually were a couple back in high school, and after we broke up everything has been awkward since." She finally blurted out as she curled up into a fetal position next to her companion. Kazuha stared at her in disbelief, not about the fact that she dated Scaramouche, but the fact that she didn't tell him sooner, "You dated him, but you never told me?!" He scolded while grabbing Y/N by the shoulders.

Kazuha let go of the poor girl and fake sobbed with a 'how dare you' look, but Y/N just punched his shoulder playfully and giggled with him and just changed the topic and started eating some snacks that they bought. "But..could you tell me more about what happened during your relationship?" Kazuha asked softly so as to not make Y/N think that he was being nosey. "Where should I start..."

✲꘏꘏꘏꘏꘏꘏꘏꘏꘏꘏꘏꘏꘏꘏꘏꘏꘏꘏✲ (A/N: this means flashback and back to present btw!!)

"Y/N! W-Will you go out with me you dumbass!" Scaramouche blurted out while Y/N was getting her shoes from her locker, "S-Scara?! Since when would YOU confess?!" the girl was dumbfounded as people around them squealed in excitement and jealousy. Reluctantly, she accepted it. One of the worst mistakes she has made in her life.

Toxic words, gaslighting, guilt-tripping, and more things along those lines. Y/N suffered it all for the rest of her high school experience.

Kazuha stared at her in disbelief as Y/N  was still curled up, "You know, the sun is very pretty..." The H/C-haired girl said as she stared into the distance. Surprisingly they didn't know that time passed by that quickly, "We should head back to the apartment, but before that would you like to have a walk?" And with that, they both started to have a short walk. "You know, I never thought you would date someone like Scara himself-" Kazuha said, but Y/N just repeated it in a mocking tone.
