Caroline’s POV

“I need to go out Dad.”

It had been two days since I broke down in front of my dad. I can slowly feel myself gaining my life back, but something isn’t right still. I still was pissed at my mom, hurt at Harry getting drunk and confessing his love to me, and Zayn because he told me he loved me -right after Harry- and that he’s always loved me.

“Where?” he questions from the stove, he was making breakfast for all of us.

“Work. I need to talk to Victoria about something’s too.” I say placing plates around the counter. Next I set knifes, and forks.

“When do you want me to take you there?” My dad asks. He had been driving me everywhere, trying to get closer to me to figure me out.

“I was thinking after breakfast.” I reposition the glasses on my nose, pushing them up more.

“Sounds great to me.” He smiles at me. I turn around to see Louis standing there with Chelle. They each smile at me, Louis kisses me on the cheek and they sit at the counter. Things were kind of going back to normal, thank god!

“Haven’t seen you in glasses in awhile.” Louis states going for the milk carton.

“I know, I haven’t really gotten around to cleaning them or….finding them.” I smirk at him while grabbing some coffee mugs.

“You should wear them more.” Niall’s voice makes me turn around. His dyed blond hair was sticking in loads of different directions. I guess he just woke up. “They fit your face.”

“Thanks.” I smile at him as he sits down. “Where’s Liam or Zayn?”

“Liam should be on the couch and Zayn left early to go do something for Simon.”

“Zayn doing an errand? That’s unheard of!” Louis exclaims raising his cup of milk.

“What surprises me is that he got up early.” I say chuckling a bit while walking to the living room. What I saw was hilarious.

Liam’s head was buried under a heap of pillows and his arm and leg were thrown off the couch. Blankets were on the ground, and he was missing a shirt and pants –luckily not boxers. He was lying on his stomach.

“Liam.” I coo ruffling his growing buzzed hair. It had such a weird texture that made you want to keep touching it. How awkward. I kept rubbing his hair until he groaned in annoyance.

“Leave me be.” He mumbles from under the pillows.

“Liam. It’s time to get up bud.” I tap the mound of pillows and I hear him mumble a few choice of swear words. Liam pushes his arms in front of him pushing up. He groans again stretching and then standing up.

“Put pants on mate!” Louis yells at Liam covering Chelle’s eyes who laughs at Louis.

“Yeah, yeah.” Liam bends down and fishes for a pair of shorts, pulling them on then standing up looking right at me. “You wear glasses?”

“Since I was younger. I just found them yesterday afternoon.” I shrug my shoulders at him.

“Cute.” He ruffles my hair which had been in a messy pony tail.

“Thanks.” I brush the hair that fell out back out of my face.

We all sit down and eat the food my dad made. And let me tell you, it was beyond amazing! He had crispy bacon to fill Niall’s full need along with all of ours. The scrambled eggs he made were just perfection, he added secret spices to it and we all enjoyed it dearly. He also made toast of various kinds, tea, coffee, and loads more food.
