What did I tell you about that guy over there? '' She said, ''I know you aren't very well considering your state, but I will never assume on your behalf. I said, as I sat there in my arm chair, holding my glass of gin, she just sat there, opposite of me. And I saw her face, cold; sad, as we remimcent about the day. She looked at the paintings around the house, one especially caught her eye. "Hey, what's that?" she pointed out. "Oh that." I replied, then I continued, saying "That was my grandfather, he found it in his fathers attic room from the war." I turned back to her, waiting for a reply. But none was returned. I turned my head to the fire to check up on it. I was nearly burned out. "My god. It's gonna get chilly here, better get another log on." I said to myself. I arose from my chair; heading towards the fire, staring into the dying flames. For minutes, now, I was just staring, no throught or no reason why.
