Over the course of the months David and I have gotten even closer. He has been showing me that he is in this for the long run. I haven't met his parents yet cause they live in New York but we have talked over FaceTime a couple of times and I did meet his sister Lataina eventually. However I did plan a trip to the Bahamas for his birthday and we were leaving today .I was currently running around gathering last minute things before I went to meet David at his house. Of course I invited Pree and Rari as well they will be flying with us as on the PJ. I planned for us to do a bunch of excursions and also planned a dinner to bring in his birthday. I got to David house about an hour later after picking up a few things to see him still packing.
"You are the only person I know that literally packs the day of the trip" I laid across his bed looking at him.
"Cause I'm not like you, you gotta pack 20 outfits for a 4 day trip" He chuckled looking at me.
"Shut up you never know what could happen that's why you always pack extra" I playfully rolled my eyes at him.
"Okay whatever you say" he walked up to me to give me a kiss.
"When we get back I gotta head to New York, I don't know for how long I'll be there tbh" I looked at him intensely.
"Why what's up" I questioned him.
"Nothing but I still got business out there and since we been out here shit ain't been getting done, so I gotta go back and play catch up for a while" I nodded my head understanding where he was coming from, but low key sad cause I was going to miss him.
"Okay I understand" I pouted at him.
"Chill you know it's nothing for me to put you on a PJ baby" he smiled at me. Which I know it's true but I'm honestly not going to have time as well summer was always my busiest time and it's where I get booked for a lot of weddings, I already have 5 coming back to back once we get back. I told him we will figure it out and we got ready to leave.
Once we landed and dropped our bags off to the Airbnb we agreed to meet later on that evening for dinner with Pree and Rari. David and I went sightseeing on the island but as he called it he tryna see where he can get some weed at.
"Aye where the bud at" he stopped some local kid who looked scared of him.
"Bae you scaring him" I smiled at the kid and pulled David away from him.
"I wasn't scaring him" he huffed out.
"That boy was terrified you look scary bae" I laughed at him he mumbled a whatever. I made him stop so I can get a pineapple from a stand I seen.
"Hold on bae take a picture for me" David made me stop to pose for a picture.
"Owww you getting better at taking pictures I taught you well" I looked at the picture he posted of me.
