Chapter 12

Dave POV

After seeing Heather yesterday she been on my mind all day and night. I know I said I couldn't be her friend but I don't think I can last another day without speaking to her. Hopefully we run into each again if not I'll make a pop up to her shop one day.

I decided to take Kairi to the park today since she's been begging me for the longest. Once I came back with my parents I decided it was time to get a house as well. I moved them and myself into BuckHead area with the cribs I still kept my condo for emergency purposes. I got us a house in the same neighborhood so it only takes like a 10 minute walk to their house from mines. We had a park in the community so that's where I took Kairi. While she played I was on the phone with Rari he was telling about us coming up short at one the traps.

"I checked the camera but ion see nobody out of the ordinary we don't know" I watched Kairi sliding the slide.

"Then it's one of them niggas not bringing all they bread in set up a meeting I'll handle it Ima have a talk with that nigga Ace too he should've been reported instead of trying to handle it himself" I was pissed it's not about the money cause we can definitely make that shit back but it's about niggas testing is thinking they could get away with it. Most importantly we made sure everybody was eating and taking care of it's no point of stealing from us.

"Alright ima hit this niggas up and set that shit up for later tonight" we ended the call and continued to watch Kairi playing. A couple of minutes later I seen Kairi run up to a orange looking dog. I got up to walk towards her cause if that dog bit my baby ima kill his ass.

"Kairi watch it don't touch him" I went to pick Kairi up before she touched it.

"Bentley you gone make me hurt you" I looked up to see Heather grabbing the dog leash.

"Oh shit what's up this yo dog" I smiled looking at her.

"Hey and yes I'm sorry if he touched her or anything" She looked over at Kairi smiling before Kairi waved at her.

"Nah she good she was about to pet it and no wonder this dog looked familiar" I looked again at the dog and realized it was the same one on her Instagram she be posting.

"Hey sweetie you wanna play with him he's friendly is it okay I see she keep eyeing him" she asked. I nodded that it was okay and put Kairi down so she can play with the dog.

"It's cool if we talk" I wanted to sit down and talk with her. She said okay and we went to sit down at a nearby bench while Kairi played with her dog.

"What's up how you been" I asked her.

"I've been doing good what you doing around here" she looking around the park.

"I just brought a house for me and my parents in here" she looked over at me shocked.

"Damn this where I brought my house too and wow you were finally able to get them to move here" she smiled at me.

"Yeah they only moved cause of Kairi they don't even care about me and Tania anymore" she chuckled lightly.

"I see why she's so adorable she like just like you with her little mug" she looked over at her playing with Bentley.

"Yeah that's my twin my mini me" I laughed lightly. We sat in a comfortable silence for a few minutes looking at them play before I broke the silence again.
