Shallot, Bulma and Jaco have finally made it to the Capital! What kind things are they gonna find? New Allies of new foes?

Shallot's POV

As I was looking around in amazement seeing all the different buildings, people, strange vehicles and all the new smells as I followed after Bulma and Jaco

"So this is the Capital of the future! Not too different from my version, it's only a few decades later" Bulma mused looking around

"Wh-What IS this place? The houses are huge! I've never seen a village like this!" I said in total shock as I looked around frantically

"It's no village, it's the Capital, remember? Anyway, clothes and foods are first on the agenda" Bulma said as she gave me a strange expression as I felt a shiver go up my spine "And a shopping spree for beautiful clothes for Shallot!" She exclaimed excitedly

"No thanks! I'm more interested in getting something to eat!" I told her since I haven't ate anything since I lost my memories

The three of us were at a restaurant as I could tell this place has food since I can smell something delicious

"Cheese and milk for me, please and I trust you don't need that written down?" Jaco said holding his hand out to Bulma

"Excuse me? I'm not traipsing out alone to do your grocery shopping!" Bulma angrily said to the spaceman

"You're going to have to, us battle-weary warriors are in need of a coffee break" Jaco scoffed as Bulma notice his hand

"...Why are you holding out you hand like that?" She asked him with a frown

"Well, we'll need some cash! Spare any? I don't have any of this planet's currency on me" he explained in a dry tone as Bulma just glared at him

"Your shameless m" she scoffed as she started going through her bag for what I assume was money

As she gave Jaco the cash as she left left to go do some shopping which I immediately refused since I was more interested in food at the moment

As I stared in amazement at all the so called "food" filling up the entire table as my mouth was watering from the delicious smell but I was still a bit cautious

"I took the liberty of ordering a few items, eat, eat! Earth grub ranks pretty high on the cosmic scale" Jaco encourages me as I took a gulp of anticipation

"I dunno, those are some extreme colors but smells good though! Let's me take a bite..." I said as I grabbed what I assume was a piece of meat

Next thing I knew I was on cloud nine as this was the most thing I have eaten "This is... amazing! I've never eaten anything this crazy tasty!" I yelled in shock as I started eating more vigorously

"H-Hey, is this an all-you-can-eat kinda of deal?" I asked him after swallowing another mouthful of food

"Yep! Knock yourself out! Bulma's rich, so I'm sure she won't miss a few zeni!" Jaco told me in reassurance "By the way, what are your plans for the near future?" He asked me curiously

"I pretty much told you, gonna learn what I need, then skedaddle" I answered vaguely

"Right, but after you said skedaddling, what do you plan to do? You have no memory" Jaco said stating the obvious

"...I-I'll manage, okay?!" I told dismissively as he was about to retort

"Well, if it isn't Jacko or Joke-o? I can never remember, on a break I assume?" An unfamiliar voice said as I turned to see two new people as I had my guard up and protecting my food

"Now what!" I said angrily being interrupting from eating out me in a bad mood

As strange humanoid purple cat-like guy wearing blue pants and another person with light blue skin and white hair wearing black and dark red ceremonial robes as he held a strange looking staff

"Ack! Wh-Wh-What in space are YOU doing here?" Jaco asked in terror and shock

"Earth is a planetary smorgasbord of delectable foodstuff, why wouldn't I be here is the question" The cat guy said in a dismissive tone "But where was I? Ah, sipping milk on GP payroll, Jaco ? Tsk tsk" he scolded as Jaco looked very afraid

"I-It's not what it looks like! There are... extenuating circumstances" Jaco said trying explain himself in a very dumb way

Then he started telling them what we've been up, about Bulma and how he found an amnesiac Saiyan namely me as well as anything of note

"Oh, I see you managed to locate the other Bulma, well done" Cat guy said as he seemed pleased "I suppose I could look the other way on this matter and given your meritorious service" He said as Jaco sighed in relief

But then he turned his gaze towards me as I was still eating "Picking up a stray Saiyan amnesiac probably wasn't necessary, but no matter" he said in a dismissive tone

"Hey, Um... but who are yo-?!" I was gonna ask hit Jaco covered my mouth

"...Do NOT disrespect him! This is the very person who asked me to investigate this interdimensional mess we're in!" Jaco scolded me in anger

"What Joke-o said, you really should know this already, but I'm Beerus" he inteoduced himself

"And I'm his attendant , Whis" The blue guy said with a smile "Delighted to meet you" he told me pleasantly

"By extension, you could say Joke-taking you under his wing is really thanks to me" he told me with a smirk

"Erm, it's Jaco...sir..." Jaco said with a sweatdrop

"Please, Jaco's not my friend we struck a deal so I don't owe you jack" I told him stubbornly

"Well, someone's full of beans, it's getting on my nerves..." Beerus said in an annoyed tone

"D-D-Don't mind her, Lord Beerus! I'll be sure to educate this Saiyan ignorance later!" Jaco groveled at the guy's feet as I felt insulted

"What?! You're not my mom!" I told him with a sweatdrop

"Whatever, I can tell you're not exactly busy, what with you amnesia" Beerus told me as I just scoffed "So I'll give you something to do: enter the Tournament of Time" he suggested to me

"The one where the winner gets any wish granted? That tournament?" I asked him in disbelief

"The very same, join the tournament and explore the planet as you please but take Bulma of course" He suggested as the last comment about Bulma caught my attention

"Allowing her to see the current state of this world will do wonders to speed things along" He said with a smirk

I noticed how Jaco had an expression of pure shock as he seemed to be speechless at Beerus's suggestion as I had no idea why he was freaking out so much

"Besides, you're a Saiyan? Fighting is what you do, it might be enough of a jolt to bring your memory back" He told me as that got my full attention

"Fighting could... bring my memory back?" I asked in shocked disbelief

"Hey guys! I'm done shopping!" We heard Bulma shout as she came back with some bags

"I see that's Bulma's younger counterpart and she looks even louder" Beerus commented tiredly "Jaco, take care of Bulma, will you? Same goes for you, Saiyan, think you can handle that?" He requested of the two of us his tone leaving no room for arguments

"Psh, can and will! That was the original bargain, after all! I don't need you barking orders at me" I told him bluntly

"Fine, fine, show me you've got the brawn to match that moxie and I might have a better proposal"He offered me as I just looked away

It seems things are gonna get more interesting and something within me seems to be itching at the thought of fighting
