The Schnee manor had always been empty on the inside due to the vastness of space around and the small amounts of workers currently employed.

But ever since the sudden retirement of Jacques Schnee the manor had even become much more empty and worse, the temperature had gone colder, comparable to the harsh snow outside the city of Atlas.

Other than that, outside the buildings, on the birder of their territory laid walls of ice, colder than anything found on Remnant. The ice prevented any person from entering unless given permission from the owner of the manor, who happened to be the new CEO of the Schnee Dust Company. Atlas, who had suddenly been informed of Jacques' resignation, were shocked and became hell bent on figuring out why due to Jacques not giving any form of explanation. The Atlas Council demanded for an explanation when all of their contracts and agreements with the company had been removed and every resource provided pulled back.

The entire world wanted an explanation, and the company did, scheduling an official statement from the new CEO, whose identity had yet to be discovered nor known.

"L-Lord Whitley, I-I am h-honored to be g-graced with your p-presence!" A servant clad in a formal suit kneeled towards her King. On an empty center of the manor's interior redesigned as a throne room sat Kevin Kaslana, using his alias Whitley Schnee, who stared at the kneeled form of a potential asset.

Kneeling before him was a middle manager designated on the Mantle branch of the company. Kevin had seen her files, deeming her the most useful of all the workers within his own company. Her talents could have guaranteed her a more higher position had it not been for the fact that she was a bear faunus, with more emphasis on the "faunus".

The discrimination, to him, was pointless and inconvenient in this dying homeworld of his that is only surviving through sheer luck.

He'd make sure to rid the insignificant oppression on his workplace before taking over Atlas.

Focusing back on his objective he asked, "Natalya Andreyevna Rostova of the Mantle branch, do you know why I requested your presence?"

"N-No, Lord W-Whitley." Was her reply.

She didn't know why she was here, she had only been continuing on working in the (In)famous company as a middle manager for a year. By a stroke of luck she had been accepted into a position that was higher than a normal employee. Though even if she was a middle manager, a position that faunus employees had never been able to claim, the blatant dislike of faunus was still present.

If she had her way, she would have never even tried working for the Schnee Dust Company but unfortunately it was one of the very few that would accept a faunus into the normal establishment of society, albeit begrudgingly. She needed the salary that came from her position because it was what mainly provided for her and her rag-tag family.

She endured all the injustice that she was treated with for an entire year. It was a surprise, however, when suddenly the face of Jacques Schnee, CEO of Schnee Dust Company delivered a statement that shocked her and the world. He had resigned, not giving any reason. The news had reached the entire world with the topic of his resignation becoming a massive headline on every news she had read and a hot topic on every article and social media.

What's more surprising, however, was when a very large percentage of employees and higher-ups under the company had been immediately fired. Notably, based on her research, the few percentage that are still employed were those with a very resume.

But what was most surprising of all, was when she was escorted by notable workers to the Schnee manor, to meet with the CEO that had taken the world upside-down.
