Chapter 12: The Surprise Birthday Party

Secondly, after cycling, we rested a bit at a road side bench. Then I drove her into the forest but to my favorite spot. It was evening by this time. I stopped at a waterfall. She opened her mouth in awe, for the sight was breath taking. The river here sparkles with the Moon's light. We had a picknick here. Laying down with her head in my chest, I played puzzle of my heart by Westlife. I took her hand and we danced sweetly to the song. Right before the song ended, fireflies filled the sky making the scenery more romantic and lovely and I didn't miss the chance of kissing her. Mabel mind linked me to bring her home for everything is ready. I didn't rush her so she won't suspect anything. We went home after 10minutes.

Kisha's P. O. V

We went home after a while. I was very happy that I spent my birthday with Stephan. We drove for a while then arrived home. Entering inside the house, it looked dark, spooky and very quiet.
{Seems like everyone is asleep.}
I went to Stephan and hugged him and whispered thank you. I was about climbing the stairs when suddenly I heard SURPRISE. I was shocked. I didn't realize I was tearing up.

Stephan's P . O. V

She was tearing up I went over to her and wiped a tear only then did she realize she was crying happy tears.
"Happy birthday gorgeous." Mabel said to Kisha.
" But I thought..."
" That we forgot your birthday?" Said Rose.
" No we didn't. Stephan planned all this. He wanted this to be a birthday to remember. " Mabel added.
Kisha looked at me with happiness in her eyes.
"Happy birthday again Honey." I said kissing her.
" Thank you for all this Stephan. I couldn't ask for more."
Then the party started.
Everything was going well when suddenly we heard a piercing scream. Then a guard mind linked ma "Alpha, we are under attack. It's Lucas."
"What!" I shouted which got everyone's attention. Hold him off, I'll be there soon.
"Alpha he looks stronger and powerful."
"Hold him off, back up is in the way." I commanded.
" Stephan what's wrong?" Kisha asked.
" Everyone, we are under attack and it's Lucas. He is much powerful now. Prepare yourselves now. The war has started. " I said in an Alpha tune.
" Daniel, take the pregnant she wolves and children to the hideout. Take some warriors with you too.
Mabel, mom, Rose and Kisha, go with Daniel. We'll tell you when everything is good so you can return." I said.
" No, I'm not going anywhere, I'm staying with you." Kisha said.
"Honey please I know you also want to protect your pack as the Luna but the women also needs their Luna with them to give them hope and strengthen them, okay? I also want you to be safe. I know it's not the right time but...Kisha will you marry me? I said holding her hands.
