Chapter 5: My Mate

Stephan P.O.V
She pulled away from me. I was sad but I quickly hide it. I didn't want her to feel pressured into it. I want her to kiss me at her will. I have found my mate and Striker, my wolf is also happy. I went out of the room.
The next day, I was informed in a telepathic form that I need to return to my park, which is the Blue Moon Park. "Kisha? I need to tell you something."
"Go on, I'm listening."
"Well you already know what I am.A werewolf. I am being called back to my park and as an Alpha, I have responsibilities towards my park." I said.
"I understand. Just come back. I'll be here waiting for you." Kisha said in a sad but understanding tone.
By noon, I was ready to leave. I opened the door to leave but Kisha came and hugged me,  then whispered  in my ear to return to her. I gave her a little smile and kissed her on her forehead and with that I left.
I returned to my park. Daniel came to me first. He's my righthand man or should I say wolf. We always fight side by side. Then my twin sister, Mabel and my cousin Rose.
"Welcome back Alpha, Some clans were attacked by Lucas. We have to be alert at all times." Said Daniel.
Rose is Daniel's mate. She is pregnant. "Where have you been? She asked.
"I have been with someone. Where's David ?" I asked.
"He's keeping watch with other warriors." Daniel said.

Kisha P.O.V
After 2 days Stephan left, I felt very lonely. I wasn't someone with many friends. You see, when I was 20, I developed a strange power to foresee an event before it could happen. I informed my mom. She told me everything. I was from a linage of Guides. We are to be guides to vampires, werewolves, witches, etc. I thought my mom wasn't serious but then I recalled my grandma saying things before they happened. I wasn't convinced when I told my mom to remove her hand from the iron before it exploded.
I went ahead with my daily life. Then one day, after a full day event, I went home only to find Stephan at my door step. I ran and hugged him and before I knew it I told him I missed him. I think that was my heart speaking. He chuckled. "I miss you too Kisha." He said. I of course turned red. We went into the house, he prepared dinner and we ate. We talked for a while.
"Kisha?"
"Yes?"
"I want you to meet my park. Kisha, I have to tell you something important."
"Okay, I'm listening."
"...Kisha.... You .. are ... my ... mate."
"Huh what?" I asked confused
"I said you are my mate. The one the moon goddess gave to me. You are my better half. And being your mate means I can feel your pain and other emotions. You are my soulmate, Kisha."
I couldn't believe what he told me but then again, I feel this strong connection between us and spark anytime we touch. I agreed to meet his park. Later that evening, after my bathe, I joined Stephan in bed. He was already asleep. I couldn't help but admire his gorgeous face. His short full eye lashes, perfectly arced eyebrows and his beautiful lips. Damn, I can kiss those lips forever. I had to stop myself and after a little while I fell asleep. I had a strange dream that got me really worried.

The dream:
I was in a place, it looked like a little town. I saw to that the place was a disaster. I saw Stephan fighting with another weird looking wolf. The wolf has a scar on it's face and green eyes.
2 other wolves attacked Stephan. Stephan was being distracted fighting off the other 2wolves, he didn't see the green eyes wolf coming his way with a dagger that has a blue substance on it. He stabbed Stephan. I couldn't believe it, I ran towards Stephan.
"Nooo! Stephan!
In reality:
No! Stephan No! Don't die! Please No!
