Narrator pov:

One somewhat peaceful afternoon somewhere in Canada is a city, the name of this city is Calgary, in this city there is a little house and in this little house lives a boy who gos by the name Adrien. Who by no means is a child but he's not a man either. He's a teen but before you run let me tell you his story...

Ace pov

"FINISH HIM"
"Damn it dude, every fuckin time!"
"Haha, suck it man!"
"Screw you Ty, how do you always win with barakka, I can never beat him"
"Cuz I got skills haha"
As I look around my small messy room
With the walls covered in posters and cool stuff I found while me and my friends were out exploring the town or going to concerts and bar shows with free entry, I think to myself;
*man I should clean...meh later*
As I look at ty, one of my best friends with his crazy half bleached afro and his black battle jacket covered in patches and pins, with rings and bracelets adorning his hands and wrists, and beside him my other friend Echo, with his long waist length black hair and black trench coat, I ask them,
"Yo you guys want to go smoke up in the shed?"
Ty"fuck ya!,we going to roll or use the bong?"
Echo"I ain't rolling!"
He said with a scowl when I looked at him,
Ace "just grab my bong and the weed ,I got to grab the keys"
I said while rolling my eyes and sighing,
"I'll meet you guys out there, I got to talk to my mum and grab my skate board and my battle jacket."
Ty said,"We going to skate after then?"
"No, we're going to use them to eat off of, what the fuck you think dumb ass" Echo adds with sarcasm
All I could do was sigh as I walked away and think, *today is going to be a long day isn't it?* I wasn't asking someone spacificly, but wishing I had an answer.

I walked out of my Room and down the small hallway past my mums room on my left and the bathroom on my right, I could hear my mum making her coffee in the kitchen as I walked in to the living room/kitchen area; they are in the same room with a small half wall divider. I start talking to my mom who is a small 40 year old woman named Lisa who is slightly overweight, not that I'm one to talk standing at 5'8 and 230lb. I say
"Hay mum, me and the guys are going to go smoke in the shed and probably go skate after.."
Mum/Lisa "Oki,just be safe please we don't need another incident like last time"
What she's talking about is this time me and my friend Ty got robbed at gunpoint in the middle of the night on our way home from Echos, we don't necessarily live in the nicest part of the city.
"Don't worry I'll be fine,I'll be back later and I'll message you when we get downtown,ok?"
Mum/Lisa "Ok,make sure you don't forget anything"
Adrien "I won't mum!"
Mum/Lisa "Do you have your phone?"
Adrien "yes mum!...and it's fully charged this time!"
Mum/Lisa "good,you got smokes and your lighter"
Adrien "Yes mum and I grabbed an extra from the freezer"
Yes, I smoke it's a bad habit but it helps with stress.
Mum/Lisa "...and don't for get your keys like last time, you woke me up in the middle of the night drunk and I had to let you in!"
She said with the 'mom voice',you know the one I mean, don't lie.
Adrien "yes mom,won't happen again,love you see you later"
I heard her say goodbye as I grabbed my jacket and put on my green DC hat I've had since I was ten and grabbed my jacket and skateboard wall running out the door, my friends already waiting out side for me.

Locking the doors behind me I walked to my back yard where Ty and Echo stood waiting for me with bored expressions and still bickering like a married couple, not that I would tell them that.
Ty" took you long enough"
Echo"ya,what the fuck man?"
Ace "fuck you both, I had to grab my shit!"
Ty/Echo "whatever you say man"
As we stopped and looked at each other and laughed, I grabbed my keys and opened the door to the shed.
It's not a big shed just big enough to fit some chairs and a little table. As I walked in I grabbed my lighter and lit up the candles that we got from the church, long story,we have no power in the shed so we have to use candles, any way I sat down as Echo and Ty came in and closed the door Ty said, "what we smoking any way?"
Adrien "I got some pineapple express from my mum for 420"

(For those that don't know 420 is April 20th and it's like national weed day)

Echo"nice man can't wait!"
As I grabbed my bong to pack it ty started to stand
Ace "what's up man?"
Ty "do you see that thing on the wall ?"
Ace "ya, what is that?"
Ty "don't know I thought you put it there?"
Ace "nope, wasn't me... Touch it"
Ty "what?!, No you!"
Ace "fine, Ty can u pack the bowl?"
Ty "ya, sure man"
As I passed him the bong and got up I looked closely at the wall and it was a switch
Ace "what the fuck?, It's a light switch dude?"
As I looked at them in confusion Thay looked at me the same way
Ace "should I flip it?"
Ty "bowls filled"
Ace "nice
Echo "I thought you had no power in the shed?"
Ace "I don't, fuck it I'm flipping it"
Ty "bet"
Echo "fuck it, go for it"
As I flipped the switch it made a faint 'click' and the noise from out side whent quiet and everything whent dark.
