I yawned stiffly as I stretched and sprawled on the wide and unfamiliar bed.

I was a bit confused as why I didn't hear my alarm this morning, I rose up into a seating position but quickly squinted my eyes as the sudden sunlight shone right on my eyes.

As I got up I looked around the room and then memories of last night flashed by. My face grew hot as I remembered what happened at Vincenzo's office.

"Miss Luna.. are you awake already?" One of the maid asked.  I grabbed my phone and sped up towards the door and opened it, "haha, yes! Where's Vincenzo by the way?" I asked as I followed her towards the kitchen.

"Ah, Sir Romano has already left for work saying there was important documents he needed to sort out by todays meeting" she explained as she gestured me to sit at the stool by the kitchen island counter.

And that's when it clicked me, fuck! I'm supposed to go in early as I'm his new assistant. I groaned in frustration, pinching the bridge of my nose.

"He ordered me to make breakfast before your departure to work, so please enjoy." She placed the plate in front of me as my mouth drooled at the pancakes in front of me.

"Mm!! Thank you hehe!!" I giggled as I quickly dug into the food, carelessly stuffing the food in my mouth as I savoured the sweet and rich taste of the perfect made pancakes.

"Your welcome, I'll be taking my leave now to do other duties." The maid bowed before she left to do some other chores.

I rushed out of the elevator and abruptly paused in front of the Presidents office. I knocked 2 times and waited patiently at my acceptance to go inside.

"Come in." A cold voice said from the inside, I somehow shivered at the change of tone and opened the door.

I locked eye contact with his as I noticed his cold and stern glare changed into a soft and calming gaze.

He unexpectedly welcomed me by hugging me against him and giving me a quick but deep kiss on the lips.

"Mm- hng~ o-okay that's e-enough" I breathed out between kisses as my hands that was on his chest attempted to push him away.

He smirked in the kiss and separated, he kissed my forehead and gestured me towards the desk that's neatly placed on the right side of the room, must be my desk.

"Did you have a nice sleep amore?" He asked, gently stroking my cheek, I hummed in response and leaned slightly into his touch that I unknowingly craved for his relaxing warmth.

"That's good. By the way, this is your new desk. Your laptop and iPad is on the way but I gave some of my documents that you need to memorise by 2pm in the afternoon." He explained, letting me sit down on the chair and take in my new desk.

"Thank you president." I flashed a small but bright smile at him. I snorted under my breath when I saw him avert eye contact and his cheek and ears blushing red.

"Mm. No problem, I'll be doing work so if you need help don't hesitate to ask" he finished and sat down on his chair and started doing his work.

While that was in action I organised my desk a bit more before starting to go through each documents carefully and thoroughly, making sure I memorise the key details.

About an hour later of comfortable silence and the sounds of the keyboard hitting, someone knocked on the door.

"President Romano, the Laptop and IPad you requested are here" they said behind the door, waiting to be permitted to enter with the items.
