Only a couple of days left until the ball. The other royals had finally showed up and for the first time in a while, everyone had breakfast together. But Zea liked when her and E vanora used to eat breakfast alone. The Princess enjoyed their talks about flowers, childhood memories and many more things. Now all she was doing was trying her best to not look bored. Princess looked over to the right side, only to see Lucien and Eve speaking. Sometimes Lucien's father joined in but he did that rarely. It was worth mentioning that the handsome Prince looked very much like his father, except the king's hair was now grey and a bit shorter. All those things aside Lucien was truly a copy of his father. Suddenly Evanora looked over and gave a small wave, Prince gave a quick glance in Zea's direction and also waved before turning back to Eve and continuing his conversation.

Suddenly Zea felt a small tap on her shoulder. When she turned the other direction she was met with her mother's stare. It wasn't pleasant to say the least. Honestly The Princess didn't expect to see The Queen of Aggeris or as others called her, Lady Nex. They never had a good mother-daughter relationship. Now Zea knew why, after all, how can someone love a child that's not theirs? Also Lady Nex was away most of the time with the other Queens. It isn't really easy to form a bond with someone who is away all the time.

"What?" Asked Zea.

"Don't stare at others, it's rude." Came a quick reply, before Lady Nex turned away and started speaking with someone else.

The Princess felt completely trapped and alone. It's ironic how lonely we can feel even though we are sitting in a room full of people. Zea just wanted to get out and hang out with Evanora. Talk about silly things and laugh until they couldn't breathe properly.

Finally breakfast was over and The young Princesses were in the garden discussing the upcoming ball. Debating on who would get drunk first, how would others react when they realised that Eve and Zea had run away.

"Do you really want this? I mean you have a family here and they love you..." Zea held Evanora's hand and placed it on her cheek.

"Love, the one you brought me, is worth more than any kingdom or title." Whispered Eve. "Ultimately it taught me the rhythm of Life."

Zea looked a bit confused, not really understanding what the other Princess meant when she talked about the rhythm of life.

"Before I only heard a melody but when you came along I finally started to feel the rhythm. I started to dance with you in the halls of Life. Unafraid of what will happen, because I know even in death we will still dance." She took Zea's palm and kissed it. "Promise me if I die first, you will hold onto my ashes and when your time comes, you will mix them together, so even in death we will be together."

The other Princess was simply speechless. No one had ever made Zea feel loved. Yet here she was with the most beautiful person on the planet, having heard a confession so soft yet passionate, she thought only existed in fairy tales.

"My Eve, if you die, I'll die with you. No matter where, no matter how. My soul shall always belong to you." Zea's eyes were full of fire. One could tell this Princess would not let go of her love so easily. She'll put up a fight until the end. "Gods may not be fair to us but I will fight every single one of them if it means our souls stay together." Now that was a promise.

Evanora gave a small giggle, "Sure, my little fighter."

"Hey, I am not that small, I'll let you know I am proud 5'7."

"You keep telling yourself that." With that Eve took off.

"Do not think you can outrun me!"

A while later Zea and Evanora stood on an edge of a cliff. They had run so much, that they didn't even notice how both of them ended up there. From where they stood the whole kingdom of Collis could be seen. The huge castle stood over the town that was beneath it, kinda like watching over it. The wind was pretty strong up here but the Princesses did not care. They kept laughing and making jokes at each other. For the first time in what felt like forever, Zea and Eve could be free.

The two fell on grass and decided to rest for a bit. Now they needed to find a way on how to get down and get home quickly. All of a sudden Evanora had the perfect idea.

"Are you afraid of heights or flying?" Eve asked.

Zea shook her head no.

"Great!" A small smirk appeared on Eve's face.

Evanora stood up and whistled. Now long after a white dragon showed up. The Princess of Aggeris was not truly impressed. She knew dragons existed but had never seen one. Before her stood a dragon with wide wings and blue as ice eyes. Majestic is all their glory. A creature of travel and air. Soon Eve got up and held out her hand. Zea prepared herself, took a small breath and got up on the dragon.

In seconds they were in the air and flying towards Collis. Zea slowly opened her eyes. Below them the forest seemed only like a blur. She looked up, the clouds could be reached by only extending an arm out. The Princess slowly lifted her arm up, the soft feeling tickled her palm. The clouds would disappear with a small touch.

Evanora had decided they were a bit too low and wanted to go higher. So that's what she did. Suddenly they were going up. Zea held on for her dear life. While Eve felt the adrenaline pumping through her veins. When they reached the wanted height an amazing view opened up. Before them the sun was setting and painting the sky the brightest of colours. From blue to orange. Shades mixed together to create an amazing blend. The sun was truly the greatest painter of all time.

Not long after they had finally reached Collis. Their parents almost lost their heads looking for them. A long lecture followed. The girls just hadn't realised how quickly time had gone by. It felt like it was their final day together on this planet. Yet both knew, they would still continue to see each other for a very long time.
