Prologe

Sophie was 6 when she saw the boy. He was leaning against the tree in the front yard. "Who are you?" Sophie asked. "What's wrong?" The boy asked, seeing tears on Sophie's cheek. "My friend was going to tell me that she didn't want to be friends, but I already knew."
The boy thought for a moment before asking, "How did you know that she was going to tell you?" Sophie bit her lib before answering, "I can hear other peoples thoughts."
The boy whispered something in a different language before saying, "See you soon Sophie."
It was when she was inside that she realized that she never saw the boys face.
