Yoongi

"Welcome mr. Min! Have a seat!" The teacher told me as I came in the room. "I have a great announcement!"

I sat down and looked at Mr. Kang. I really wanted to know why he seemed so happy. Of course he was always happy, but this time it felt different.

"Listen up! I have something to say!" Mr. Kang announced.

I waited.

"There is a music program in Seoul and you get to go abroad and study music. So for the next three weeks you will compete in a music contest and whoever wins gets to sign up for the abroad program!"

My eyes went wide. No freaking way! I had to win!

Mr. Kang smiled at me. "I am looking forward to what you guys create, and also the head off the school will be one of the judges who get to decide if you get to go."

Everyone began whispering.

Mr. Kang clapped bringing everyone's attention back to him. "Now! Let's get to work!"

I stood up while people scrambled around. I wanted to ask mr. Kang if there was a scholarship available that I could get. My mother was big on those. She said it would be good for me.

"What can I do for you mr. Min?" He asked sanitizing his hands.

"Uh I was wondering mr. Kang..uh..if a scholarship would be available for the university?"

He smiled at me. A good sign right?

"Of course yoongi!" He said patting my back. "You can definitely get a scholarship!"

I smiled happily and bowed. "Thanks mr. Kang! I am going to work on my music piece for the contest!"

He gave me a thumbs up. "You go lad!"

I hurried off while carrying my notebook and pencil case. I bumped into daehyun on my way out.

"Yoongi?!" She said smiling wide.

I stared at her. She looked different from the last time I saw her. She seemed more tired and like she had been crying. It would be mean if I didn't say my heart did a flipflop when I saw her.

Maybe my feelings haven't gone away yet for her

"H-How were you?" She soflty asked me.

I could feel myself getting flustered. "Ok" I said not meeting her eyes because of how shy I was. I sometimes hated how shy I could get around her.

"Cool!" She said. "Well, good luck! I assume your also going for the contest right?"

I nodded slowly.

She patted my shoulder as she walked past. "See you around yoongi."

"You too" I mumbled.

Taehyung
[the next day]

Student council was a bit lonely, especially without Seo-hyun there to annoy me. I sort of missed her.
