Harry Potter Summary (Chapter by Chapter, Books 3-7)

Goblet of Fire

1. Opens at Riddle house, where Riddles were found dead 50y prior. All had been in perfect health but died looking scared. Accused Frank Brice – their gardener and veteran. Only saw a boy on the street that night. Today, 77y/o Frank sees movement at Riddle house and goes to see. Overhears a voice in a chair, who been feeding off a "Nagini" and she needs to be "milked." Other man offers to grab someone else for "a plan", but voice insist it "has to be Harry Potter." A Bertha Jorkins had given them information for their plan – second man had 'napped her and her disappearance is not going to be overlooked for long. Snake slithers pass Frank and hisses something to the voice in chair. Frank dies at a sudden flash of light, and HP wakes with a start.

2. HP 14y.o, recognized Vol's voice in the chair. Scar is hurting. Barely able to be excited about World Cup – knows they want him dead. Write about pain to Sirius, but doesn't tell about the dream – doesn't want to worry him.

3. Dursleys on "rabbit food," because school had written them about Dudley's weight, but Hagrid, Her, and Weasleys had sent HP snacks for birthday and he is hiding it upstairs. Letter arrives (R called his own "Pig"); HP given prime tickets to World Cup (1st time in Britain in 30y). Asks Dursleys if he can go, threatening with Sirius name. Will be Bulgaria vs. Ireland, on Monday. HP adds about location at the Weasleys in letter to Sirius before sending it, and able to forget about dream, because excited.

4. Packs map, broom, and cloak for when Arthur comes to grab him (Dudley covering his butt, afraid of getting pig tail again). Weasleys later, HP wonder if will arrive with floo power, but the fireplace is electric. Hear confused voices behind it before Arthur blows the electric fireplace up. Arthur lights fire to send HP, R, and twins back – twins sneakily drop candy before leaving. Arthur demands the Dursleys send HP off with a goodbye. Dudley suddenly grows swollen tongue, and HP watch Arthur struggle to let them have him help as HP goes through the fire.

5. Dudley had eating Twins' "Tongue-Tongue Toffee." Bill (was head boy, looks cool) and Charley (scarred hands) greet HP at fireplace. Arthur arrives furious, since he is trying to stop the mistreatment of muggles, but Twins say he is "a great bullying git." Molly arrives and Arthu avoids telling her, but she knows, so everyone except Arthur, F, and G scape the room. Percy tells about working on cauldron regulation for the ministry now while everyone hears Molly screaming downstairs. Owl was actually called "pigweagen," Ginny explains. Mr Crouch is Percy's new boss, Molly uses F&G's fake wand by accident, Percy yells at Bill and Charlie for ruckus, Berta missing (but she is always getting lost). Adults talk about top secret event. Molly judges Bill's earring, all kids gushing over Victor Crum, F and G once send Percy a prank but he has no idea.

6. Older people can appracate – difficult to do proper. Splinc and test for license. Charlie had to do it twice, Accio bunch of taffeee, desered Moore will work best for Muggles not seeing. Portkees modeled after trash. Amus Diggory finds the old boot before they do, Cedric is 17y/o, Amus aware of HP.

7. Bazel (kilt) is wizard waiting there on duty. By to Diggory, struggle w/ muggl money, obliviatere Mr Roberts (Moore keeper), Bagman blabs about wizards carelessly, "Weezley" tent, 3-room flat tent borrowed by Perkins who has Lumbego, Cook fire outdoors, ses many young wizards and withes playing with kid brooms, "Salem Witch Institude" Merican tent, Shamrock tents, peek at Bulgarian tents w/ Victor poster everytwhere, Her showing Arthur how to use matches (enjoying himself), explains unspeakables, Bagman arrives in quidditch robes(used to play for Britain. Bagman holding gamble on the game winners. F&G "Ireland wins, but Victor gets the snitch." Bagman in awe of their fake wands. Barty Crouch speaks 200 languages (including troll), Barty dressed good like muggle, like some bank manager (banned flying carpet inports). Hints secret "triwizard' thing. Move into wooden stadium, 100,000 seats, gold walls, size of three cathedrals, rich purple carpets, 50ft goals, self-writing blackboard for ads and point count.

8. Hp sees an elf at tournament keeping seat for Crouch. Everyone bring animals from own countries. HP buys Ron binoculars for the tournament ("take it as your CM present). Lucious shows up and GT meets Narcissa, mocks Weasley money. 422nd QWC. Bulgaria Veela mascots dance, Leprechaun throw gold onto audience for Ireland. Egyptian referee. Everyone fingers in ears for Vela. Victor taunt other seeker, 50mins (Ir130:B10]. Referee gets enchanted by vela, Ireland wins but Krum snitch at 170:10, so lose 170:160 – wanted to go out his way. Bulgarian diplomat reveals can speak Eng, despite Fudge having made fool of himself for last few hours. Twins won bet.

9.One last tournament hot chocolate before bed. HP wants to try Krum's Ronsky Faint when he gets back to Hgwrts. Wakes up to screams, masked wizards marching in group and cruciatus on muggles and muggle-borns. Ron trips in stampede, but okay. Sees muggle family being humiliated. Malfoy meets them in forest and mocks Granger for being next, but GT just walks away. HP realized lost his wand, Runs into Winkey looking for master (Her calls elves slaves). Velas are everywhere. Go hide in woods, sees Bagman running terrified. Deep voice "morsmordre." Dark mark in sky. "Stupify" suddenly at GT, but ministry members realize they are only kids. Accuse them of making mark as a prank. Diggory runs in direction of spell and finds Winkey passed out, along with HP wand. "Rennervate" wakes Winkey. "Prior incantattum" his wand and shows a shadow of the dark mark. Crouch furious at Diggory for accusing his elf of doing it, but still gets rid of her for causing issues and not staying in tower. Her angry at Percy agreeing with Crouch. First time in 13y that the mark shows up again. Death Eater disappeared when it arrived because they weaseled out of going to Azkaban. Bill, Charlie and Percy help to clean everything up while kids go home.
