My name is Zhang Jinhai. As you can probably guess, I just finished reading a novel. A BL novel, to be specific. To be honest, I never expected to get into BL—I'm a straight male after all. But my sister dragged me into them after her girlfriend introduced her. Her girlfriend is great, but I regret she infected my sister with an obsession. -_- Not only that, my sister makes me pay for her BLs and GLs, and whenever I complain, she makes me pay for her BGs too!

The book I was reading just now is called "A Long Way of Autumn". It's about a god who 'accidentally' finds his way into a human magical academy, realizes that the student council president (who also happens to be the crown prince), the ML, is the same god that saved him when he was some thousand years younger but reincarnated, and ends up joining as a student to try and make him remember. It's not exactly clear what he's a god of, but either way he's kind of scary. He ends up completely disguising himself as someone else, but since he hasn't been in the human world for a long time, his behavior seems strange. Because of this, the ML's best friend and a member of the student council who has a crush on the ML indirectly end up causing the MC to die after painfully physically and emotionally torturing him. After he dies, the ML finally realizes he liked the MC. He ends up reluctantly getting married to the girl that helped the ML's best friend, and they become king and queen with a son, but he commits suicide after discovering who the MC really is and getting his memories back. The people of the kingdom find out the truth and their sorrow fills up the air with elemental energy to the point where the kingdom becomes a thousand times stronger than it was before. The ML's best friend ends up having to marry the queen even though he was previously courting someone.

Heh. Serves him right. (Even though the plot is completely stupid).

Suddenly, someone throws a shoe at my head. Of course, it's none other than my sister.

"Jinhai!" She basically screams from the sofa. "Stop using up what little brain cells you have and get me a soda."

Shaking my head, I get up and rummage through the fridge. But there's nothing there.

"It's empty," I call out.

"And?? Go buy me some!"

I groan. I need to check the author's page to see if there's any updates and finish my homework too. But if I don't do it now, I'll end up having to deal with my cranky sister.

Convenience store it is. I'd rather go with the lesser of the two evils.

"That'll be 2 dollars, sir." The cashier drones on and I feel really fucking bad for him, but I don't want to anger my sister.

After our parents died, this is the least I can help her with.

I give him the money, heading out with the bag when suddenly, a kid runs past me and stumbles. "Sorry mister!"

...Do I really look that old?!! I'm only 18!

I'm about to sit down on the pavement and question my life when out of nowhere a truck comes ramming into the street. Somehow, it goes all the way into the direction of the convenience store?! Truck-kun, is that you?!

The last thing I hear before my vision goes black is the distant murmuring of a pitying crowd.
